02/04/2024: Introduction: we met there to celebrate the Easter holiday with 6 people. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Service: Excellent service, very approachable staff, nice and friendly with customers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐Menu: very satisfying rustic local dishes, generous portions, we expected more from the pappardelle with wild boar, but still everything was good, especially the cured meats and cheeses. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Location: surrounded by greenery in a fantastic setting, excellent restaurant which was completely in rustic style. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Prices: Very fair.

31/03/2024: We had lunch at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. Excellent service, courteous and helpful staff but above all the cuisine was something superlative. Good prices, rustic and family atmosphere.

05/02/2024: We visited Scanno for the day last Saturday and stopped for lunch at the Porta. We booked an hour in advance, but being February we easily found a place, in other periods I don't know because the place is really small, but for this reason it is also welcoming and I also liked the interaction that Mrs. Bice (I think she is the owner) manages to create among the various customers by describing the traditional dishes they serve. There were two of us and we had two first courses, two second courses, a side dish, a dessert, water, beer and coffee, and we spent the right amount for a meal like this (€67). The menu is daily, changes according to seasonality and serves traditional dishes, for example we had the cazzinicchi with foie and some really good spaghetti alla guitar. Advised!

01/03/2024: This place in Scanno was a pleasant discovery. The cuisine is that of the past, flavors and smells of a bygone era, first choice quality. The very nice owner is his wife who cooks with passion. If you pass by here I recommend it. You will definitely return. Today they opened specifically for us but in a short time the place was almost full... and I won't say anything else. Compliments.

19/02/2024: When you venture from the city towards villages and towns you expect to find cheap, home-made cuisine. At the La Foce restaurant, however, it seems they wanted to make up for the bad winter season: grilled meat for max x2 people passed off and made to pay as if it were x6, defrosted bread (ok, it was Sunday) and a skimpy side dish of vegetables. Adding 4 pasta dishes still resulted in a disproportionate bill (at least 40 euros). At Fraschette d'Ariccia you eat more and spend less. Try something else.

30/10/2023: Personale molto gentile e disponibile che ci ha messo subito a nostro agio (con due bambini piccoli presenti) in un area riservata del locale, nonostante l’ora di ritardo che abbiamo fatto. Cibo veramente di prima qualità, ben preparato e presentato.

14/09/2023: Piatti cucinati in modo forse un po' "sfizioso" ed elaborato. Ben presentati con un ottimo servizio. Cenato all'esterno in un ambiente molto piacevole.

25/11/2023: Il Ranch è un posto magico, quando si entra ci si sente subito a casa, in famiglia, ma non la famiglia di oggi, quella di una volta in cui ogni domenica era una festa, ogni ricorrenza un’occasione per stare tutti insieme, ogni evento era speciale perché erano le persone a renderlo speciale. Al Ranch sembra di essere tornati indietro,, in un tempo senza tempo, quello della nostra infanzia, della spensieratezza… per me è stato il tempo in cui ho conosciuto questi luoghi, la Valle del Sagittario, Scanno, Villalago, e me ne sono innamorato per sempre. Grazie a tutti voi per averci accolti con il calore di sempre, eppure sempre nuovo e rinnovato. Vi vogliamo bene.
