A five-star establishment—if I could, I'd add another—as it's one of the few remaining places where you can enjoy traditional Scanno cuisine. All this is topped off by the owner's friendliness, a kind and attentive person. This historic and very well-maintained establishment is worth the trip, even just to step inside La Porta.

The place isn't very big. The staff was friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for our food choices. Excellent!!! We also had some of their homemade desserts, and the total bill was more than fair.
We'll definitely be back!

It was the first restaurant I tried during my stay in Scanno, and my expectations were completely met. The dishes were traditional, simple, and truly tasty. The grilled caciocavallo cheese was fantastic. The place was small but tidy overall. Prices were in line with those of the area. Recommended.

Sometimes, unfortunately rather rarely, I enter a restaurant and feel 'they are going to take care of me'. This is the way I felt within 30 seconds of entering La Porta and I was not disappointed. Great traditional food, splendid service and atmosphere. I loved it!
