30/07/2026: Every time I pass through Montereale I can't help but stop at Thomas for lunch or dinner, where you can eat local meats and homemade pasta. The abundance and quality of the raw materials are complemented by the hospitality... you feel like one of the family... highly recommended.

26/07/2026: A gem to discover in the Laga Mountains at the foot of Montereale. The menu is packed with excellent small gastronomic experiences. They also have a pizzeria serving pizzas and pizza tongs. Highly recommended!

Saffron gnocchi with sausage and mushrooms... exquisite pork chop and sautéed chicory... a complete appetizer if they had also included ricotta cheese... the vegetables were cooked just right; perhaps a minute longer would have softened them, as would the potatoes... a full-bodied and fragrant red wine of excellent quality.
Excellent everything, including the attentive and friendly service.
A gem of a trattoria nestled in the green mountains of the Laga.

05/07/2025: Wir haben auf einer langen Wanderung hier 1 Nacht übernachtet und Abendessen gegessen. Auf Mails wird offenbar nicht geantwortet. Ich habe 3x geschrieben und musste am Schluss anrufen, um das Zimmer bestätigt zu erhalten. Die Buchung über die Webseite funktioniert nicht, auf Booking ist man auch nicht. Die Zimmer sind sehr spartanisch, das Badezimmer megaklein. Man duscht über dem WC.
Das Nachtessen im Restaurant war sehr fein!
Das Frühstück bestand aus einem Croissant mit Heissgetränk. Wir konnten aber ohne Probleme noch Käse und Schinken sowie Brot nachbestellen. Für Wanderer war dies überlebenswichtig.
03/04/2025: Locale sul lungolago di Campotosto, ben arredato e pulito. Personale accogliente e gentilissimo. Cibo fresco e ben preparato. Per un antipasto, 2 fettuccine salsiccia e funghi, un quarto di vino e acqua abbiamo pagato 35€

29/07/2024: Ogni volta passando per Montereale mi fermo al forno Soccorsi per prendere sempre la pizza bianca fatta al forno a legna, senmpre bassa croccante e saporitissima un culkt per la zona.. prezzi favolosi per chgi viene da Roma....il pane è un po' difficile da trovare in alta staguione , meglio andare la mattina presto.
