If you're passing through Scanno, this cabin is a must-see! 🌲 Beautiful location, all in wood, it feels like you're in a fairytale. Excellent food with an unbeatable quality-price ratio. Super friendly staff who make you feel at home. Plus, we found it open even though it was Tuesday and almost everything in the area was closed! Five well-deserved stars!

The hut is a beautiful place, very welcoming, and has a quaint atmosphere, typical of a mountain hut. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and quick to deliver orders. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely evening with friends.

We only tried the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and even helped us with directions to Scanno. Excellent classic and traditional food, a warm atmosphere: it truly is a mountain hut!

Perfect lunch with ski friends. La Baita di Scanno is a warm and welcoming place, with a true mountain atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Service was fast, friendly, and professional, despite the restaurant being packed.
The dishes? Simply spectacular: unforgettable fettuccine with mushrooms and truffles, delicious cazzilli, and truly excellent arrosticini. Authentic cuisine, generous portions, and authentic Abruzzo flavors.
Our advice: first take a tour of the splendid medieval village of Scanno and then treat yourself to a culinary stop here. For us, it was a fantastic discovery and will surely become a regular stop for all our upcoming ski holidays. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was exceptional, the staff were attentive and extremely friendly. We ordered three first courses and some arrosticini to share among ten people. I tasted some very unique flavors that aren't often found. I especially recommend the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and white truffle. I hope everyone has an unforgettable experience.

Excellent dinner experience. The waitress was very kind, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was quick; we were served in just over 10-15 minutes. It's a shame it's not on a busy street, and we only discovered it the night before leaving; otherwise, we would have gladly returned!

La Baita a Scanno is an excellent restaurant to stop at after a day spent in nature. Lunch was delicious and high-quality, featuring traditional local dishes. The arrosticini, in particular, were excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and truly delicious.
The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making the experience pleasant and relaxing. It's a recommended place for anyone who wants to sample Abruzzo cuisine in a family atmosphere.
