04/04/2026: Today I had lunch at this little restaurant and I must say it was truly a wonderful discovery. The food was delicious, and you could clearly taste the quality of the ingredients used: everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and meticulously cared for. An added bonus is definitely the owner, an extremely kind and welcoming person who conveys a true love for his work and for what he offers his customers. You can sense the passion behind every detail. His wife, on the other hand, is an excellent cook. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease and leave wanting to return. Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: A wonderful Sunday spent at this little restaurant in the village of Sessanio. We ate divinely, delicious, locally sourced vegetarian food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All this was accompanied by the very kind Mr. Andrea, who expertly explained the origins and ingredients of each dish, expertly prepared by his wife, Barbara. An experience to be repeated, definitely recommended for anyone looking for a different culinary experience!

06/04/2026: I booked for Easter just by looking at the reviews, since I'd never been to L'Aquila, and I wasn't disappointed. Excellent food, with a focus on local ingredients but also innovation, delicate and refined flavors, and excellent, attentive, and friendly service. Excellent, one of my best Easter lunches. N.B.: The dulcis venia was a small masterpiece of taste and beauty!

The ingredients are incredibly fresh and high-quality, and you can taste it in every bite. The pizza is always perfectly cooked, balanced in flavor, and never heavy. The service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere is welcoming, ideal for an evening with friends. Every time, it's a confirmation: quality, passion, and attention to detail. For me, it's not just a pizzeria, it's the pizzeria. 09/04/2026: A beautiful farmhouse, surrounded by greenery and with a splendid view of the plateau. We participated in a saffron harvesting and processing experience, including lunch. Alessandro, the owner, accompanied us throughout the morning, passionately sharing the history and production of this extraordinary product. At lunch, we enjoyed delicious dishes, all saffron-based, accompanied by attentive and friendly service. A heartfelt thank you to Alessandro, his wife, and the entire family for the wonderful day we spent together!

The dining room staff, with their wonderful hospitality, attentive service, perfect presentation of dishes and drinks, skillful and competent, won over this humble waitress... The quality of the ingredients had already captured my attention. Then, the magic of the Chef and the kitchen team undeniably completed what was a truly culinary experience. 07/04/2026: We spent the night between Easter and Easter Monday at this hotel. The welcome was warm and welcoming. The chef immediately came to talk to my wife, who has gluten and lactose intolerance, and immediately proposed a menu similar to ours, but tailored for her. I must say, it was truly delicious. Clean room and amazing breakfast. Excellent location for visiting Camoscio, Valfondillo, the "fantastic" Opi, Pescasseroli (a true gem), and so much more. Thank you all!! See you soon. Family Quarta

18/04/2026: Lovely place! Excellent food and good value. For us, it's now a must-visit when we stay in the area. We had a cured meats appetizer and some first courses: everything was truly excellent. The dessert, a ricotta tart, was also noteworthy. The only negatives are the location and the table layout. The location, because it's a short walk and some stairs to reach it: we were with my elderly mother, and it was a bit of a struggle. The table layout, however, was a bit too close together, which wasn't very comfortable for a group like ours (8 people with 2 children). Despite these small issues, which we managed without any particular difficulty, the experience was exceptional, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

17/04/2026: For anyone passing through Rivisondoli, the "Da Giocondo" restaurant is always a sure bet: a welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food. Elisabetta, the owner, is always ready and willing to make her guests feel at home. If you're in the area and want to eat well, you absolutely must visit.

17/01/2026: Guests for New Year's Eve, not our choice. The menu's quality-price ratio was unjustifiable, with disappointing and mediocre dishes. The situation was made worse by the customer service: the owner was completely unsympathetic and incapable of listening to feedback, rude to anyone who dared to ask questions or requests, incapable of communicating, and handled criticism by personally attacking the customer. An experience not to be repeated.

The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, thanks not only to the setting but also to the reliability, kindness, and friendliness of the entire staff, who immediately make you feel at home. The decor is another strong point: composed of beautiful modern pieces, it creates an atmosphere full of character. The staircase is a must-see, as are the rooms upstairs. Everything is made even more charming by the fact that it is an ancient villa that belonged to a noble family, and many original period features have been preserved. The pizza is simply exquisite: a crispy dough, well-crafted and rich in flavor, making every bite a small pleasure. The menu also surprises with its dishes featuring authentic and uncommon recipes and ingredients, making the experience even more interesting and unconventional. An experience that goes beyond a simple meal and is absolutely worth experiencing.

Mario, a special person with a sublime culture, clearly shows that everything he prepares is made with knowledge, experience, and love. The pizza also deserves a special mention: wow. 08/04/2026: As a vegan for over ten years, I know how difficult it is to find truly inclusive and well-prepared omnivorous restaurants. Often, you have to settle, but this place was a wonderful exception. For Easter lunch, I found a surprising vegan menu, one that remained true to tradition without sacrificing creativity. The dishes were an explosion of colors and aromas, meticulously crafted and anything but ordinary. What makes this place special is the hospitality: the staff is incredibly kind, but it's the owner who makes the difference. He's extremely attentive, open, and knowledgeable, and deeply understands the meaning of a diverse diet and doesn't treat it as a simple "substitution." Feeling welcomed and valued on an equal footing with all the other guests is not a given. I will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, especially those seeking cuisine that combines ethics and tradition.

06/04/2026: This functional B&B is located along State Road 17. It has spacious rooms. Next door is an excellent restaurant, run primarily by Emanuele, who uses his grandmother's recipes. We also tried the shop, which serves excellent cheese arancini and a wide selection of wines.
