29/03/2024: What can I say, a truly excellent sandwich, shame about the ignorance of those who work there. We went there to get some sandwiches to continue shooting, with two dogs who are two saints who cannot be seen or heard. As soon as we arrived we wanted to try to ask since there wasn't a soul there as it was 2pm if maybe instead of sandwiches we could eat right at the table. Well there was a dog tied up outside who started barking (I didn't really understand if it was theirs), ours kept quiet and only barked in response, he immediately went out grumpily, no dogs inside. First point we weren't even entering with the dogs we were right far from the entrance, second point you took that dog pore and locked it in the car, third point practically open air restaurant instead of €20 for the sandwiches we would have spent more for lunch, but you stuck to it. Learn that dogs are part of families now, if you want more tourism accept them especially if the place is empty and they don't cause you any discomfort, because one thing we understand the place is full there are outdoor tables they suit me well, another thing is to immediately say no in an arrogant way, when we haven't even entered, which is a shame because the place is nice and the food at least the sandwiches is good! It's 2024 wake up

03/04/2024: Easter 2024 group of 20 people including adults and children. Excellent welcome from the manager Piero, from booking to leaving the hotel. Always available for our every request, more than customers we felt like guests of a friend. I recommend it to those seeking tranquility, nature and good food. See you soon Piero and Luigi. 03/03/2024: We had lunch on a Saturday in March where the restaurant was very full and received excellent service from Jimmy. The food was fabulous. Very good. Typical local meal in a location that reflects Villetta Barrea, with chandeliers with deer antlers and much more. I highly recommend the pappardelle with venison ragù, excellent! I would go back a thousand times, just a step away from the river!

02/03/2024: We stopped at this restaurant for dinner after it was recommended to us. The interior is truly characteristic, like almost all the local places, but it is striking for those of us who come from the city. We ordered the starter complete with cured meats and cheeses. The cured meats were excellent even if I like a slightly longer seasoning (but this is a strictly personal opinion) and they were made from wild boar, deer and fallow deer. The sheep's cheeses were exquisite to say the least, including the sheep's ricotta which was a cream. All accompanied by good homemade bread. To accompany it we took the house red wine, the loose one. Intense taste, color and aroma. Let's move on to the first ones. Spaghetti alla guitar with scorzone and butter. An exceptional thing, a creaminess suited to the dish, just right, not too liquid nor too hard and plenty of slices of scorzone on top. Fragrant and tasty dish. Another first course, pappardelle with venison sauce. A plain sauce with boiled meat and a scent of bay leaves to lighten it up. Those are delicious too. We stopped there because we were full. Advised. Parking a little complicated. There is one in front of the restaurant but if it is full, you have to go elsewhere because it is impossible to park along the street.

05/01/2024: Ambiente famigliare, cibo di qualità e servizio veloce ai tavoli. Fantastica la pasta tartufo e funghi, i ravioloni speciali . Merita nota speciale la scamorza arrosto tartufata... Ottimi gli arrosticini Piatti abbondanti , ma altamente digeribili, grazie alla qualità degli alimenti

26/12/2023: Abbiamo scelto la Trattoria del Pescatore per il nostro pranzo di Natale e non poteva andare meglio. Abbiamo trovato la sorpresa di un menù alla carta e il lusso di poter scegliere tra diversi piatti della tradizione locale. I ravioli con ripieno di ricotta e orapi sono vera poesia. Anche gli gnocchi alla pastora non scherzano. E che dire dell'arrosto di agnello ripieno di salsiccia e castagne? Delizioso! Tutto squisito e preparato con ingredienti di elevata qualità e accompagnato da generosi calici di vino. Per concludere un godevolissimo dessert a base di ricotta e pere. Menzione speciale anche per i contorni e per il pane. La spesa poi è stata ragionevolissima e il personale davvero cortese. Andateci e non ve ne pentirete!
