Arrosticini Divini In L'aquila

Excellent local cuisine, focussed on arrosticini, roasted meat on a stick.

Excellent menu. Excellent service. Convenience needs to be reviewed. Two fewer tables inside to make those who come to consume feel comfortable.

The place is cute, even though the outside tables are right on the street. Inside, the atmosphere is small but cozy. The staff is very friendly.

We dined out and were very pleased with both the staff and the dishes we ordered. I only have a photo of a bruschetta with Aquila sausage, which was spectacular and delicious. As for the rest, I didn't have time to take photos of the arrosticini; we devoured them. I recommend ordering not only the mutton ones, but also the liver ones, which are delicious and incredibly tender. A must-see if you come to L'Aquila!

True to the restaurant's name, the homemade arrosticini are truly divine, even the ones with onion and chili pepper. The first courses are also exceptional. Try the zafferamisú.

The arrosticini and first courses are very good. The saffron tiramisu is a must-try; it's phenomenal.

We absolutely loved here! We came to L'aquila for a weekend and the first dish we wanted to try was arrosticini as a local food. We heard that this is the place that makes the best arrosticini in the town. The meat was really amazing, it was incredibly delicious! We made a reservation before we came because they said that the place is always very full, it is impossible for you to go and find a place spontaneously. You should make a reservation at least three hours before in advance. When we arrived there, it was incredibly hot inside. Unfortunately, we ate while drenched in sweat. There is no air conditioning inside, just fan but not enough. I recommend you to go to a table outside, so it is useful to make a reservation before hours ago. We tried local dishes: arrosticini and we also the the one with hot peppers, called arrosticini sbagliati. If you like spicy, definitely try it. We also ate liver, it was also very delicious and fresh. We ate pasta before meat. We tried chitarra, although the local pasta of chitarra varieties are different, here there were only eggplant one. The pasta was also good, but we didn't absolutely love it. We drank red local wine, called montepulciano, with meat. We ate mixed salad to eat together, it was fresh as well. In the end, we decided to eat zafferamisu, tiramisu with saffron, I don't like it. But I don't think it had anything to do with saffron, the cream of tiramisu was bad unfortunately. At the end of the day, we tried all local food here hahaha. Also, the employees were very helpful, especially female friend. In short, definitely come here for delicious meat, you will have a great local experience!
