We chose the place after a nice excursion and we recharged a lot thanks also to the kindness of the owner and above all the good food.... we had a series of mouth-watering appetizers with a beautiful magnificent first course

A very nice place, located in a remote village. The prices are decidedly high, the seating is limited, and the waitress's service is very sketchy. I didn't eat anything exceptional, enough to justify the price. The homemade pasta is a plus, but you can't serve a lamb ragout with a few pieces of meat (veal, no less). The owner wasn't particularly friendly and helpful. I wouldn't return. Despite the positive reviews, which, as has been shown, can be misleading, I wouldn't recommend it.

We were visiting the town of Scontrone and stopped for lunch, a sublime experience, everything delicious and of high quality, more than fair prices, exceptional waiting staff.

We arrive at the Ristoro la Foce restaurant around 3:00 PM.
We find a clean and comfortable environment, and are seated next to a window with an excellent view, made even more captivating by the early snowfall.
The dishes are refined and combine Abruzzo tradition with gourmet touches, a rich flavor that reflects the freshness of the ingredients.
Among the best we've visited in Abruzzo.
45 minutes from Pescasseroli and 15 from Villetta Barrea.
Worth a detour or a dedicated trip, especially considering the beauty of Scontrone, a charming village with breathtaking views.

A wonderful experience, delicious food, a family-friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and average prices for the high quality of the products... and the owner is a fan of my favorite team... it couldn't be better, we'll definitely be back.
