07/06/2026: A little paradise nestled in the greenery above Lake Campotosto. Very relaxing. Very friendly staff. Each pitch has electricity, and drinking water is available everywhere.

06/06/2026: A really nice, small, terraced campsite with a magnificent view over the reservoir and the mountains. Showers and toilets are rather basic but adequate. You have to get hot water for washing up from the shower block. The campsite really shines, though, with its fantastic dinner. There's a set menu featuring local specialties. Ours was a kind of bruschetta, lentils, pasta, meat, dessert, and a bottle of wine. The owners made our evening very enjoyable. Thank you so much! P.S.: There are also some really beautiful hiking trails that start right from the campsite.

20/12/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in Ovindoli by chance, and we couldn't have made a better choice. One of the best dinners I can remember, accompanied by the kindness and attentiveness of the lady in the dining room and the chef at the end. Everything was excellent, the donkey stew sublime, but it would be unfair to mention only the dishes we had the honor of tasting, as that would be a disservice to the entire menu, which displays incredible love in the selection of ingredients and the preparation of the dishes. What can I say...IF YOU ARE IN OVINDOLI, IF YOU WANT A TOP-NOTCH CULINARY EXPERIENCE, I DIVINI SAPORI IS A MUST STOP. 1000 COMPLIMENTS

16/02/2026: Every town should have a place like this, I would say a full 5 star, for the welcoming atmosphere, rich aperitifs accompanied by a vast choice of top wines and last but not least the owner is delightful.

09/05/2026: During a short family vacation in Barrea, we decided to dine here one evening and had a great time. The place is cute and well-kept, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza was good, though not as good as our Neapolitan pizza. The platter, mixed fried fish, and free farro soup were excellent. Prices were a bit high, and they forgot a dessert we ordered. Overall, a good recommendation.

03/05/2026: We decided to try this pizzeria/grill on the recommendation of a friend. Let me start by saying that the staff was very friendly, even though we hadn't booked and it was a Saturday night. They still found a solution for us and were truly welcoming, serving us a welcome soup. The restaurant is located in the heart of Villetta Barrea, just steps from the town hall and local attractions, perfect for those staying in the area or nearby who want to eat well. We chose grilled dishes and were very satisfied; the fried foods and side dishes were also excellent. We spent about €25 each, and considering the amount we ate and the quality, it was well worth the money. Thanks again to the owner for finding us a table even though it was sold out. We recommend it!

12/04/2026: ...we didn't even have time to take photos and the dishes were gone! The appetizers were generous and varied, the meat was delicious, from the arrosticini to the tagliata, not to mention the ciambellinee! It also boasts a wonderful view from the large windows.

11/03/2026: Excellent hotel with a good restaurant and reasonable prices. The family atmosphere makes you feel right at home and provides excellent menu suggestions. We've stayed at this hotel several times and always love returning.

06/01/2026: A wonderful end to a fantastic weekend in Abruzzo! I've been wanting to take the regional train from Terni to L'Aquila and Sulmona for years, and I finally did. A fantastic start to the year, sealed with a final evening at this place. The pane burro e alici (bread, butter, and anchovies) were TOP with the Margarita! We'll be back, guys—that's not a promise, but a certainty! 😎

29/04/2026: Excellent food. Even better prices. Must try. Returning after seven years, I had a great experience. I once again had pasta stuffed with sage and, I think, truffle. Delicious (like the rest).

27/04/2026: We went to Il Cantone and I have to say: a super positive experience ❤️ Truly excellent food: delicious arrosticini (it's a shame there weren't many left 😅), generous and flavorful first courses, you can really taste the quality and freshness. Even the tagliata, the house wine, and the draft beer... everything was top-notch. The owner is a truly lovely person, the kindest person who makes you feel at home. The waiter was also very kind and attentive. Fast service, no waiting, a quiet and pleasant evening. I would go back in a heartbeat ❤️ Thanks for the lovely evening

02/05/2026: Excellent hotel, comfortable rooms with reasonably comfy beds, quiet (though not when they're hosting parties), and a decent-sized bathroom. Breakfast is good, with both sweet (cereals, milk, yogurt, toast, croissants, jams and Nutella, and various cakes) and savory options (cooked ham, salami, cheese, rolls, sliced ​​bread, fruit juices, and freshly cooked eggs), as well as coffee drinks prepared at the bar.
