09/03/2025: Nice typical Abruzzo restaurant also pizzeria, we preferred first course, second course and side dish, good service, bruschetta with cherry tomatoes on offer, three of us ate well, spent around 80 euros. Advise.

01/03/2025: We had a good time and ate a lot. If you like shins, this is the right place, they have a dinosaur one which is the end of the world 🤣 Joking... but the shin was really huge. Difficult to understand from the photo since the potatoes were also of a disproportionate size. Guys, special! All starters very good!

11/04/2025: A restaurant that stands out for its double location: inside or outside gazebo. We preferred the gazebo overlooking the Fucino basin. We chose a traditional appetizer and a first course that is the house specialty in two sauces (white and red); followed by an excellent grilled lamb with final tiramisu. An excellent wine.

02/03/2025: We came across it by chance and we were amazed, excellent food, very fresh raw materials cooked to perfection, everything was top notch. We trusted the staff's advice and they amazed us. I ate a steak that was nothing short of fabulous. I will definitely stop by every time I return to the area, thanks for everything.

19/03/2025: Abbiamo prenotato e concordato un menu per una quarantina di persone il locale spunta improvvisamente dietro l'ennesima curva, Arredato da "montagna anni 70",ci sono molte sale e salette, un provvidenziale camino, personale gioviale ed efficente.Arriva una mitragliata di antipasti,su cui troneggiava una perfetta coratella,a seguire ottimi gnocchi e tagliatelle e polenta , ben conditi , anche se i sughi non erano facilmente distinguibili.Grigliata di carne ,con un agnello morbido e burroso,maiale nella norma e salsicce un pelo salate .I contorni li abbiamo ...sfiorati, buoni, perche tutte le .porzioni sono gigantesche.Buono il tiramisù . Buono il rosso della casa Il corpulento titolare ci ha simpaticamente sfidato a continuare la maratona ,sapendo di averci sconfitti. Un posto dove si mangia bene, si sta bene,si paga il giusto.Una VERA trattoria di campagna.

16/02/2025: Questo posto è davvero unico! Un ristorante rustico ma davvero accogliente. La signora Stefania, una donna estremamente gentile, gestisce questo posto con cura e amore. Purtroppo non siamo riusciti a vincere la sfida dei 96 arrosticini ma ci torneremo per rimetterci in gioco! Tutto davvero buono, carne ottima e di qualità, super consiglio

16/01/2025: A fantastic restaurant, welcoming environment, super clean. All the staff welcomes you with a smile, they make you feel at home and well-liked. Sonia fantastic. Filomena an exceptional cook. Genuine, delicious dishes. We ate a lot: starter, 2 first courses, second course and dessert, we didn't feel full because it was cooked with excellent quality ingredients. We will return and recommend it to everyone. I can't wait to go again.

19/02/2025: This restaurant is located in the historic center of Pescocostanzo, a charming town in Abruzzo very close to the Aremogna ski fields. The restaurant has several rooms, arranged on various levels, with a panoramic view of the valley, soberly furnished. The excellent menu offers high-level dishes, from starters to desserts. The cellar is certainly worth mentioning for its numerous fine labels. The dining room staff is friendly and helpful. The quality-price ratio is balanced.

07/04/2025: Restaurant located in the central Piazza Garibaldi of Sulmona, a stone's throw from the large Santa Chiara car park. We had some appetizers, including a grilled first course and some sautéed vegetables, both of which were amazing. The pizza was the real surprise, very good, crunchy and light, similar to Roman pizza. Excellent prices, service a little to be tested and acoustics not exactly excellent. I recommend it.

16/03/2025: We ate excellent dishes and delicious homemade bread! The pork fillet with caramelized Tropea onions on mashed potatoes is exceptional. The impeccable service. Truly a beautiful discovery in the heart of splendid Sulmona.

23/02/2025: I was recently invited to the La Corniola restaurant in Pescocostanzo to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had never had the opportunity to visit it before, and I must say that it was a pleasant discovery. The place is very elegant and well-kept, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It is not surprising that it is recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, given the high level of cuisine and service offered. I chose a soup with porcini mushrooms, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Another notable dish was the egg with truffle. The selection of meats for the main courses is equally impressive. The quality of the meat is evident, and every bite was a pleasure. The wine list is well-stocked, with a cellar offering a wide range of both local and international labels. To conclude on a sweet note, we enjoyed a cake prepared directly from the restaurant kitchen, which fully met our expectations. The prices are absolutely average, especially considering the high quality of the dishes and the service. Compared to other restaurants in the area, La Corniola stands out for its culinary excellence and attention to detail. Without a doubt, I will return to this restaurant on future occasions, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy a high-level gastronomic experience in Pescocostanzo.

20/02/2025: Excellent restaurant located at the Relais Ducale, Mrs. Barbara manages this elegant restaurant with her staff which offers revisited traditional dishes. Courtesy and quality are the backdrop to the excellent food and an excellent selection of wine. The homemade pasta is a plus that I recommend trying. During my stay everyone was kind and helpful, fulfilling every request related to our two-year-old child. I recommend booking.

23/02/2025: Sono qui a scrivere questa recensione e un pò mi piange il cuore, poiché è una struttura che conosco bene e nella quale ho festeggiato diverse ricorrenze, tra cui 18, 50, 80 anni e cresime. Non rimpiango la scelta perché sono sempre stato bene in questa struttura e di solito ho sempre mangiato bene. Il problema è che questa volta nel festeggiare gli 80 anni di mio suocero, c'è stato un comportamento poco professionale del gestore. Cominciamo da subito con il servizio ai tavoli, devo dire da subito che hanno sbagliato il vino, invece del rosato che era stato preventivato, ci è stato servito invece un pecorino, passi. Premetto che la torta è stata portata da noi e non è dunque quella della struttura. Nulla da dire sugli antipasti, primi e secondi che sono cmq stati ottimi, il tempo di allontanarci per fare le foto con una torta finta, che ritroviamo al tavolo la ns torta già bella che tagliata e lo spumante già servito nei calici. Peccato che il festeggiato avrebbe voluto vedere la torta preparata apposta per lui, spegnere le candeline ed aprire lo spumante per festeggiare con gli ospiti. Tutto ciò gli è stato precluso, nonostante sia stato detto espressamente a chi di dovere che la torta e lo spumante dovevano essere portati in tavola. Quello che mi domando è perché il gestore, di sua iniziativa abbia tenuto questo comportamento, che ha non solo indispettito, fatto infuriare i commensali ma ha rovinato un giorno di festa, che pure era cominciato nel migliore dei modi. Mi trovo quindi a dover dare una recensione negativa non tanto per il mangiare quanto per il comportamento poco serio e irrispettoso del gestore, che tra l'altro ci conosce anche molto bene. Peccato perché era la ns scelta per la futura comunione di mia figlia.
