10/08/2025: Excellent in everything, congratulations

08/08/2025: What a special place! As soon as we entered, we were greeted by Riccardo with a wonderful smile and a professional, attentive welcome. We let his suggestions guide us in choosing each dish, each one better than the last!!! The wild boar pappardelle was unique, with homemade pasta (a must for every first course!), fresh truffles galore, and a glass of Ratafia to finish the meal. Everything was wonderful! Once we'd finished, we wished we'd started again because of how much we'd had a great time! Excellent in every way, the dishes were beautiful and delicious (and the staff was also wonderful! :-P) and definitely worth a try!

12/08/2025: A wonderful experience! We returned to this place within a few months. We were impressed by Mr. Fabrizio's hospitality and the quality of the cured meats, cheeses, and arrosticini. The highlight, however, remains the lamb with cheese and eggs.

25/07/2025: Dinner with colleagues from the theater company. Nice, welcoming place; the outside isn't large but it's well-organized. The menu is nice, the food is good. It's a place I'd gladly return to.

30/04/2025: A truly traditional restaurant with excellent typical dishes served with love and courtesy! Generous portions, all quality ingredients. We ate a mixed starter, truffle tagliatelle and bacon and cheese and egg meatballs with tomato sauce! Everything is mouth-watering... highly recommended!!!

28/08/2025: A restaurant in a very pleasant natural setting. The homemade pasta is excellent, certainly made with eggs from the chickens roaming the courtyard, which you can buy! The young waitress was very friendly, and we had a great time! Try the "I colori dell'estate" and "come a casa" pasta dishes.

26/08/2025: Very well-kept restaurant, with a well-maintained garden; it doesn't even feel like you're in the city center. My girlfriend and I have been going to this restaurant for two years now, as we always spend a few days in Sulmona around mid-August. The food is truly good, perfectly cooked, and the menu isn't overly extensive, featuring traditional Abruzzo dishes. Highly recommended!!! P.S. Their babà is so good it would make even the most traditional Neapolitan restaurant jealous; definitely worth a try!

23/08/2025: We ate here last night and ordered. They brought us appetizers and first courses, but they didn't bring me a second course. We waited, but nothing happened; we were forced to cancel my second course because it was already too late. Then, just as I'd finished my first course and they'd already cleared my dirty plate, they cleared our table, which means they'd completely forgotten to bring the second courses. In conclusion, we had to wait 2 hours for appetizers and first courses, which is truly unbelievable.

30/07/2025: I went hoping for a pleasant evening, but I was very disappointed. The place was disorganized and poorly maintained, with few products available. The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly when I asked for help. The price didn't justify the quality offered.

07/05/2025: We had already eaten in this bar-pizzeria-diner, because it was the only place open for lunch in Rocca di Mezzo. We had a very good time, so we wanted to repeat the experience. The place is very small and offers only three tables to sit at, but usually, you expect very little. The choice of dishes, apart from the pizzeria, is limited: 4/5 first courses (excellent soups), as many second courses (try the roast caciotta) and side dishes. More choice for desserts (the tarts are delicious). The menu, on the other hand, varies very often. The icing on the cake is the friendliness and courtesy of the ladies who always welcomed us with a smile.

30/04/2025: Avevamo già mangiato in questo bar-pizzeria-tavola calda, perché era l'unico locale aperto a pranzo a Rocca di Mezzo. Ci eravamo trovati molto bene, per cui abbiamo voluto ripetere l'esperienza. Il locale è molto piccolo ed offre solo tre tavoli per potersi sedere, ma solitamente, si aspetta molto poco. La scelta delle pietanze, a parte la pizzeria, è limitata: 4/5 primi (ottime le zuppe), altrettanti i secondi (da provare la caciotta arrosto) ed i contorni. Più scelta per i dolci (buonissime le crostate). Il menù, in compenso, varia molto spesso. La ciliegina sulla torta è la simpatia e la cortesia delle signore che ci hanno sempre accolto con un sorriso.

03/09/2025: The agri-campsite lived up to expectations: quiet, in a magnificent location, and the food is good and reasonably priced. The only drawback is the lack of amenities for the summer months.

01/09/2025: We stayed in a tent from Thursday to Saturday morning. We had a great time. The location was beautiful, breakfast was available at the bar. We had dinner on Friday evening. The view was beautiful, the food was very good, and the bathrooms were fine! We had a great time with Mauro, the manager. We'll definitely be back! Silvia and Andrea
