17/03/2025: I went there for lunch yesterday with my partner Valentina from Pescasseroli, I compliment the owners, every time we go there for lunch I am really happy with the goodness and quality of the food, the owners are very kind and patient, the food is of excellent quality and is very well prepared, not to mention the final bill to pay which is absolutely fair and much better than the average of the places in the area, where due to the tourist location the prices are quite high. 16/03/2025: A welcoming and familiar place also in terms of service. It offers typical Abruzzo cuisine. I was able to appreciate the truffle and a really good mixed roast. The cellar is also interesting. Medium-high prices for the context

13/02/2025: Had lunch last Sunday, we had two first courses and pasta with river prawns and they were both good, and spectacular kebabs for the second course. The appetizer was also good, including the delicious ricotta. They welcomed us as if we were at home and we had a really good time. Modest prices considering the quality of the products.

20/01/2025: The food was good and the waiters were friendly. Don't expect a visually luxurious restaurant. The Foce is decorated with many items that they will have collected since they first opened the doors. The dining room was kept nice and warm and there is a bathroom available for customers.

23/02/2025: Domenica scorsa ,insieme ad amici,abbiamo prenotato qualche brunch al ristorante Lo scoiattolo che e stata una giornata davvero favolosa, siamo stati benissimo al tavolo abbiamo preso una bella cioccolata calda, con una bellissima vista con tutta la neve che abbiamo visto in giro. ci vediamo l anno prossimo, grazie mille a tutti.

05/03/2025: A pleasant discovery on the border between Abruzzo and Lazio. Pleasant location as it is spacious and bright (with well-kept bathrooms, well done!!). Food with genuine flavors and at prices so low it's hard to believe. Kindness and helpfulness of the staff not so common. What can I say, you have to come back to taste as many things as possible. P.S. the coratella is worth the trip, as are the ricotta and spinach ravioli!! See you soon.

31/12/2024: Siamo stati a cena durante il nostro soggiorno a San Demetrio ne’ Vestini e ci siamo innamorati della cucina sincera di Leonardo Visconti, fatta di grandi prodotti e di una manualità meravigliosa. Lo definirei un vero artista in cucina. La pasta con zafferano e datterini per me è mia moglie rimarrà indimenticabile così come la gentilezza e il calore che ti accoglie nel locale. Il prezzo pagato è assolutamente corretto. Che dire se saremo di nuovo in zona ci torneremo di sicuro.

29/12/2024: Cibo ottimo, pasta fresca fatta sul momento, ingredienti km zero, bellissima atmosfera, servizio eccellente, come essere ospiti a casa di amici. Conoscere la signora Jeannie è stato un privilegio e un grande piacere. Grazie davvero! Altamente consigliato, da andarci magari dopo aver visitato le splendide Grotte di Stiffe.

05/02/2025: The pizza is fabulous! Typical Roman dish with the right crunchy edge, quality ingredients and perfectly seasoned. The truffle used is delicious and typical, as are the other ingredients. The place is really nice, the wooden exterior welcomes you to an equally intimate and warm interior. It feels like home, in a good way!
