23/10/2025: We relied on Cartiera del Vetojo and Luca's professionalism for our wedding. Several weeks later, we're still receiving compliments on the ceremony, but especially on the impeccable organization, excellent food, and professionalism of the staff. The location is dreamy, with ample parking accessible to all. Thanks again to Luca and his staff for making our wedding unforgettable. Andrea and Ilaria

13/10/2025: A beautiful civil wedding celebrated in the green area below the historic residence. The interior room where we had lunch was well-maintained, clean, and accessible. The area where we had the dessert buffet was also beautiful. I recommend a light jacket because the temperature drops after sunset, given the presence of a stream (civil wedding at the end of September).

03/10/2025: We've been visiting the Il Giardino pizzeria in Villa Lagarina for many years and feel completely at home here every time. The quality is consistently excellent – ​​the stone-baked pizza is simply a delight: thin, crispy, and generously topped, just the way you'd like it. The selection of dishes also leaves nothing to be desired, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. We'd particularly like to highlight the service: the staff is always friendly, attentive, and incredibly fast. You immediately notice that the work here is done with passion and that guests are welcome. For us, Il Giardino is not just a pizzeria, but a place you'll always enjoy returning to – whether for a cozy dinner with friends, a family meal, or simply to enjoy a really good pizza. Highly recommended!

20/10/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance; we were out with friends and just needed something to eat. We were very impressed with the quality of the dishes. The price was reasonable and the lunch was plentiful, even with some tasty treats. The arrosticini were top-notch. Highly recommended.

30/08/2025: Excellent restaurant in a small town. Very well-maintained and welcoming. We went as a couple, along with a small dog, with no problem. The dishes, especially the starters, are unique, tasty, and substantial, yet not far removed from regional cuisine. I was surprised; I thought I'd find a tourist-friendly setting, but instead you can taste the care put into the preparation of the dishes. The desserts are very good.

21/08/2025: Reply To Mr. Girolamo Saviato... I treated you the same way you treated me... with no respect for the workers... with arrogance and presumption... Without a good morning, you took the menu and sat down at your table without asking if it was free, and with a pedantic air, you insisted on ordering before others already seated at their reserved tables. When I pointed this out to you, you got up and left, giving a senseless review of the food because you didn't enjoy our dishes. Ll Let's not say the customer is always right... in this case, I'd say no!!! ... Kind regards, the arrogant waitress!!! In this place, respect for customers reigns supreme... something you didn't show me...

02/11/2025: Very fast service, helpful and dynamic staff, more than good food quality, honestly a bit steep bill (1 appetizer, 2 first courses, 1 beer and 1 glass of wine more than €70 in total).

12/10/2025: Everything was delicious! A fantastic family lunch. We enjoyed a varied selection of appetizers, first courses, and meat-based second courses, prepared with the highest-quality ingredients and meat from select regional farms. Each course stood out for its meticulous presentation and balanced flavors, highlighting the passion and expertise of the kitchen, accompanied by a wide selection of wines. The attention to detail and the exquisite courtesy of the staff, always helpful and professional, were particularly commendable. An excellent gastronomic experience that fully deserves to be recommended—sorry... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Special thanks to Chef Piero and Concezio for the service.

07/10/2025: Very good food, we stopped here after visiting the grotto, very friendly staff, attractive price. Enough parking spaces, you can also eat on the terrace, which is a plus because you enjoy the beautiful view and the peacocks in the yard (something really unique in a restaurant) We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Italy.

31/10/2025: We found this place by chance and had an excellent dinner featuring grilled meat, various side dishes, water, and wine. The desserts were excellent. The prices were truly attractive.

27/10/2025: Very nice place and very kind staff! The first course was a creamy parmesan and truffle dish, exceptional; the pappardelle with wild boar and pecorino cheese was also very good. The entrecote with truffle was a little on the stiff side, but overall good! I recommend it! 😊

14/09/2025: What a gem this is! A fifteen-minute walk from the Lo Schioppo campsite via Piano Sacramento. Opening hours aren't very clear, but on this Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was open for lunch. Simple and delicious food, reasonably priced, and the cheesecake for dessert was absolutely fantastic!

20/08/2025: My experience at La Mandra restaurant was undoubtedly positive. The location is stunning, surrounded by greenery and just steps from the entrance to the "Zompo Lo Schioppo" nature reserve, which I recommend visiting early in the morning and then having lunch at this excellent restaurant. The establishment also offers a B&B service. Lunch, which I had the pleasure of experiencing on two different occasions, with friends and family, began with a tasty appetizer of local cured meats, accompanied by olives and grilled vegetables prepared authentically in-house. The first courses consist of excellent homemade fresh pasta, such as fettuccine, gnocchi, or ravioli (filled with excellent ricotta) topped with sauces (ragù or tomato and basil) or other very tasty preparations (truffle or boscaiola). For the second courses, we opted for excellent and generous mixed roasts accompanied by equally delicious side dishes; we particularly enjoyed the broccoli and seasoned tomatoes. A wide selection of homemade desserts, including an excellent Neapolitan pastiera, and a special mention for the exquisite baked cheesecake, which is quite rare in Italy. A special mention also goes to the gentian liqueur, highly recommended after a meal with coffee. We were greeted by the family-run staff with great helpfulness and courtesy. On one of our visits, even our big dog, Charlie, was welcomed with open arms. The indoor and outdoor spaces and bathrooms are spotless, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is excellent. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

07/05/2025: We'd already eaten at this bar-pizzeria-diner, as it was the only place open for lunch in Rocca di Mezzo. We'd had a great time, so we wanted to repeat the experience. The place is very small, with only three tables, but you usually wait very quickly. The menu, aside from the pizza, is limited: 4/5 first courses (the soups are excellent), the same number of second courses (try the roasted caciotta), and side dishes. There's a wider selection of desserts (the tarts are delicious). The menu, however, changes frequently. The icing on the cake is the friendliness and courtesy of the ladies who always greeted us with a smile.

30/04/2025: Avevamo già mangiato in questo bar-pizzeria-tavola calda, perché era l'unico locale aperto a pranzo a Rocca di Mezzo. Ci eravamo trovati molto bene, per cui abbiamo voluto ripetere l'esperienza. Il locale è molto piccolo ed offre solo tre tavoli per potersi sedere, ma solitamente, si aspetta molto poco. La scelta delle pietanze, a parte la pizzeria, è limitata: 4/5 primi (ottime le zuppe), altrettanti i secondi (da provare la caciotta arrosto) ed i contorni. Più scelta per i dolci (buonissime le crostate). Il menù, in compenso, varia molto spesso. La ciliegina sulla torta è la simpatia e la cortesia delle signore che ci hanno sempre accolto con un sorriso.
