07/07/2025: Worth a stop for a cuisine that still has the flavors of the past. Too bad for the location and not very generous size of the tables (despite a reservation in advance) which certainly do not help to fully enjoy the quality of the food

08/06/2025: I went for lunch to celebrate a confirmation. They told us about and showed us dishes with ingredients that come from both Italy and other places. The experience at the restaurant was really excellent; I will definitely go back.

23/05/2025: I went with my husband for dinner in May 2025. I would definitely recommend it both for the excellent quality of the food and for the kindness and professionalism of those who served at the table. Refined setting, increasingly rare fabric tablecloths and napkins!

08/04/2025: Our favorite stop on Corso Ovidio for coffee or an aperitivo. Owner Marco is a gracious and friendly host, the coffee and snacks are excellent.

10/06/2025: Best pizza I have had in Europe! Seriously… Thin crust with all fresh ingredients. We also had a Greek salad that was light and delightful. Beautiful wine list. Nothing but good things to say! It was so fun to interact with the owner and the cook of this wonderful restaurant. We were able to sit outside in their beautiful patio. Impressed by lots of locals enjoying the restaurant as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. But come early they filled right up!

I'll definitely bring some friends and use that as an excuse to go back myself... The owner gave me a truly wonderful welcome, and my compliments to the waitresses, who were nothing short of incredibly kind.

14/08/2025: It was with great joy and a touch of emotion that I rediscovered the magic of one of Italy's finest wine shops. The selection is carefully curated and of the highest quality, featuring a selection of local labels. The owner, Maurizio, is a great wine expert and a delightful person. If you can get him to open the "Holy of Holies" where the most precious wines are kept, you'll be amazed! A must-visit for wine lovers!

11/08/2025: I had lunch today with three friends. 2 appetizers 4 pappardelle with wild boar 4 mixed roasts 3 side dishes 2 tiramisu 2.5 liters of red wine 4 bottles of water 3 coffees 2 digestifs €48 per person A bit pricey...but the food was excellent. And anyway, prices in Carsoli, Tagliacozzo, and the surrounding areas are like this...everything has gone up, like the price at the supermarket. And we'll be back anyway...

30/07/2025: Don't expect a super-starred restaurant, don't expect waiters with white gloves, forget everything, come here to eat surrounded by nature, in a charming little village. It's easy to win here, and you eat rustically without too much fanfare. Do you remember the exquisite and delicious meals your grandmothers cooked so many years ago? This is Verrecchiano...

The service is warm and friendly, without too much formality, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The appetizers are traditional and well-prepared, while the first courses are reasonably good, although the portions are a bit small, especially the pappardelle. The bean soup is satisfying, but both dishes are rather basic and lack any particular surprises. The second courses are average and offer nothing particularly original compared to other restaurants in Abruzzo. The desserts are also average, with the chestnut gelato standing out as one of the few positives. However, the prices are excessive and not justified by the quality of the food, the ambiance, or the service. Considering the competition, they're too high. In conclusion, it wouldn't be my first choice, but the food isn't bad; it's just not a memorable place, and there are better options within walking distance.

27/08/2025: I don't like giving bad reviews. What you serve is good, but the prices are really excessive. Furthermore, charging 20 euros for two children for two pasta dishes is really unfair.
