If you’re in Bardolino, take the extra 8 minute walk and skip the tourist trap restaurants. Osteria Al Capitel is absolutely worth it.
The outdoor seating is beautiful, surrounded by palm trees and lime trees, making it a relaxing place to enjoy dinner. One thing we really appreciated was that it’s non smoking, which made the whole experience even better.
The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. To top it all off, the owner makes her own limoncello and brought us each a sample after dinner. It was incredible and the perfect way to end the meal.
This is the kind of family run restaurant you hope to find when travelling. We’ll definitely be back.

The price-quality ratio was not right.
Paid 150 euros for sandwiches and 2 main courses.
Prices are also not displayed on the menu.
They were nice people, though.
Al Cardellino offers better value for money. The ambiance in the garden is also better.

A wonderful restaurant, beautiful courtyard. Super friendly service, delicious food. Small menu, don't expect pizza here. There's also at least one daily special. The tiramisu is especially delicious.

The food is good. The menu is not so big but that's okay. There is not so much space in the restaurant so make your reservation in time. The people are friendly and the pirices are okay.

Our favorite osteria with delicious, carefully selected dishes. Located on the main street in a courtyard garden on the edge of town! A bit away from the tourist crowds! Perfect for a relaxing evening with very friendly owners!

A truly wonderful place!
We ate here several times during our vacation. The food was always delicious, excellent value for money, and the service was attentive and welcoming.
The menu is small but sufficient. Superb quality! Highly recommended!

We went last night after booking, a really nice and welcoming place, very short waiting times... We ate an excellent house-smoked trout with a side of grilled vegetables and delicious baked potatoes, the tagliatelle with truffle and the sliced veal were also excellent... the desserts are highly recommended, excellent value for money.
