12/07/2026: A simple but very welcoming place, family-run with a lot of passion. The food is excellent, and the pizzas are also delicious, with very good, light dough. We'll definitely be back.

25/07/2026: A small, family-run restaurant with lots of charm. Even before entering, guests were greeted warmly and personally, making them feel instantly welcome and at ease. In summer, the seating area among the vines is particularly pleasant, comfortably separated from the road. The pasta was excellent, and the food overall was good and, in my opinion, perfectly seasoned. My only slight reservation would have been if they had asked about my preferred level of doneness for the meat, although it happened to be cooked to perfection for me. Ample parking is also available. It's definitely worth the trip, or perhaps combining your visit with a wine tasting in the region.

19/07/2026: Lovely terrace under the grapevines. Traditional Italian restaurant, not a tourist trap. Went here on the recommendation of our host. That was a good tip; we went twice. Small menu with lovely dishes. Not expensive, but very good quality. Friendly service,

23/06/2026: We happened upon this place by chance while in the area and were truly impressed by the food, the service, and the layout of the tables in the garden. If you're passing by, we highly recommend stopping by.

28/04/2026: We had dinner with a couple of friends. The owner was welcoming and very friendly. The aperitif in the cellar was lovely, with prosecco, prosciutto, and pickles (in my opinion, they should have been replenished, as there was little or nothing left). The waitress was unprofessional; she returned the bread to our table with our own cutlery, implying that we'd eaten a lot of bread "like truck drivers." In my opinion, this was out of place. The food was excellent, especially the tagliata and the antipasti.

16/06/2026: The pizza was truly delicious, and the quality of the carefully selected ingredients was clearly evident. The only thing we didn't appreciate was the ancient grain dough. The waiter suggested it to us, and the description immediately piqued our curiosity, so much so that we decided to try it. It was a shame, however, that we only discovered upon receiving the bill that each pizza with this dough carries a €4.00 surcharge. In our opinion, it would be appropriate to inform customers of this additional cost before ordering, to avoid unpleasant surprises and ensure greater transparency. Otherwise, the atmosphere is very pleasant: it's reminiscent of a classic village pizzeria, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

We chose Locanda al Borgo because we already knew its many qualities, and they were all a confirmation: - Mara and Martina (the owners) Professional, extremely knowledgeable, and extremely kind, ready to answer any of my questions. They had a style and elegance in setting up both the ceremony and reception areas, using their suppliers, which made my wedding magical. - The food We chose the buffet courses and the dinner dishes from a wide variety of options... everything was impeccable. Our guests gave us countless compliments on the quality of the food, the appropriate waiting time for the courses, and the elegance with which the dishes were served. The dining room staff was also always polite, helpful, and professional. - Location: This place offers tons of options for organizing the ceremony, buffet, and dinner. The "Vista" room is truly magical, the outdoor garden with the castle in the background is incredibly romantic, not to mention the opportunity to take photos both in the botanical garden and inside the Rocca Sveva winery. My wedding was special thanks to you, Mara and Martina. Thank you so much for everything 🥰

03/05/2026: Absolutely amazing, nothing that could be improved. Setting beautiful, classic with eclectic accents, formal but relaxed, chef walking around and engaging with his guests the whole evening, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and then the food. We got the 10 course menu which was a little much, but wouldn’t have wanted to miss any course. There were an additional two appetizers and dessert as well. A real journey of different tastes, combinations and textures. Some surprising some more recognizable but all excellently prepared and beautifully presented. They were very flexible and adapted some dishes for my gluten-free intolerance, without making me feel difficult or having me miss out on anything. Highly highly recommend, great value for money and will definitely be returning! Grazie per una serrata perfetta!!!

27/03/2026: I went their with my boyfriend for his birthday. The location was very nice on a little hill overlooking the lake. The service and food were just outstanding, we enjoyed everything we tried. The chef came to our table to greet us and even explained some of the dishes which was very cool and made our day. We highly recommend :)

24/03/2026: I'm sorry to write this comment, because I've known you for a long time, and I've always had a great experience. Unfortunately, it's during difficult times that customer service is most noticeable, and today this attention was lacking. I came with six colleagues for pizza. After about 10 minutes of perusing the pizza menu, the waitress informed us that the pizza dough was out, and she did so without the slightest apology. I expressed our disappointment at the cashier, receiving only a vague explanation of your difficulties, but no apology, and not even a courtesy (a small discount, a free coffee). Perhaps it's normal for you for a pizzeria to run out of dough, but for me it's not. Despite this, I think the shortcoming is understandable, but what should never be lacking, and which would have cost you nothing, is customer service. I know you, and I will return, but I can assure you that my colleagues have already expressed their intention to choose other places in the future. This is why I am writing to you, to urge you not to repeat certain very avoidable slips.

11/06/2026: The massive walk across San Zeno and after, all the way to Vittorini is worth every breath. Delicious pastries in a very local atmosphere. One might not be enough. Have two....or do return!

The prices are fair, reflecting the quality and service offered. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness are definitely a strong point. 27/05/2026: Azimut hosted the evening. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff who serve you drinks with a smile, delicious food. They use top-quality products for the cold rice, including Garda olive oil.
