Agriturismo Dongili

14/04/2026: We celebrated my son's baptism and trusted the agriturismo blind, even though we'd never had lunch or dinner at Dongili. Starting with the fantastic location, the food was truly appreciated, especially because it was all homemade, and the service was excellent.
And finally, the price was perfect, having the place just for us.
Highly recommended, and we'll be back for a simple dinner or other events.

07/04/2026: A delicious lunch with friends, featuring a menu full of delicious and interesting dishes, from appetizers to dessert.
The waiter was kind and attentive, explaining all the dishes concisely but thoroughly. The location is reached via a slightly bumpy dirt road; the setting is very charming. Beautiful view of Montorio.

12/04/2026: From the outside, it's very unassuming, but there's a very large room in the back. Unfortunately, the view isn't great as it's in the courtyard, but the decor and atmosphere are still quite nice. Regarding the food: we had pizza to go once, and it was fantastic! So we decided to eat in again. We ordered an appetizer platter, pasta primo, and a main course. Everything was very satisfying, and the prices were excellent. We would definitely choose it again.

08/04/2026: A very touristy place, but attentive to intolerances such as gluten-free and lactose-free options.
The pizzas were overall good and quite generous with toppings, but unfortunately, in our case, the service was extremely slow and the wait was very long. All this was accompanied by prices that, in my opinion, were excessively high for everything.
07/04/2026: Good morning, I was there yesterday for lunch with four people. Two regular pizzas were good, and two gluten-free pizzas were good. However, the menu isn't very clear on whether they offer gluten-free options...
In my opinion, the menu needs to be revisited.
Anyway, I recommend it.

Confirming this, there were many Chinese customers in the restaurant, a sign of the quality of the food.

30/04/2026: A bit too hyped. The risotto was average and there wa a buzz around the amarone wine, which wasn’t the best as we’d hoped. The service felt rushed - as if we were ‘yet another foreigner’. The location is exceptional, food is trusted, and the prosciutto platters did look amazing. Maybe this spot is better for an Appetizer with wine, and then move on to another spot. (Or if you’re Theo Randall or another celebrity chef who’s endorsed this restaurant, then go for the whole meal.)

The staff is friendly and helpful.
The risotto with Amarone is exceptional; I highly recommend it. The risotto with beetroot and Gorgonzola is tasty and delicate.
We will definitely be back...

01/05/2026: Very nice place, and that's where the positives end.
A €32 charcuterie board was billed as enough for two, when it was barely enough for one. We had to top it off with a bruschetta, which was good but ordinary (the lady taking our orders said they were renowned for their bruschetta, which is saying something).
The service was pathetic; in addition to a 30-minute wait from ordering, which was unreasonable for slicing three charcuterie items, it was embarrassing to have two waitresses bring a single dish, and they even got the wrong table (note that only three tables were occupied).
Highly not recommended.
19/04/2026: Spectacular terrace overlooking the Valpolicella.
A very charming and well-kept place, ideal for lunch with a panoramic view and excellent wine.
Very friendly staff.
We had lunch on a sunny Sunday, in the cool of the terrace, accompanied by excellent bruschetta, tartare, and a goat's cheese platter with quince and fresh pear mustard, along with a tasting of Valpolicella wines.
A must-try.

30/03/2026: We absolutely loved Filippini. The food was amazing, so good that we ended up going back 4 or 5 times during our trip! But what really made the experience special was Maximiliano. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made us feel right at home every time we visited.
This is definitely my place to go whenever I’m back in Verona. And I can’t forget their signature Spritz, they’re made with real passion and it shows. Highly recommend!
22/03/2026: We stopped for an aperitif. The welcome wasn't exactly the best, but we had a great time afterwards. Good cocktails, standard aperitif food.
