Excellent dinner with dishes and flavors you don't expect. In particular, the lake amatriciana, the accompanying butter (creamed with lake sardines), the carbonara, the pre-dessert with caramelized carrots and, lastly, the small pan of zabaglione foam. Nice and helpful chef.

For this type of restaurant the attention to details and adequate attention by the chef to all customers and just selected few must be much better. Also… finding a very big fish scale in one of the courses (fish tartare) after it got stuck to my mouth my is unexceptable. The reaction by the staff was OK (the dish was replaced), but again well under the level of attention one would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. Friendly suggestion - tweak the carrot pre-dessert because nobody out of 9 people in our group had positive reaction to it.

This was our first visit to vecchia having wide experience of michelin starred restaurants. The restaurant has a great setting with views of lake garda. The food was in general good with many interesting and innovative dishes. However, the high standard did not apply across the menu. We had the classical menu which was varied and interesting but the snails were over cooked and the petit fours were awful which was a shame as the desserts were excellent. The pasta was indifferent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere should have been very good but was ruined by a large party who clearly had no idea how to behave in a restaurant. The staff did their best but were ignored. When we arrived as the restaurant was opening we were left outside in heavy rain despite the staff being aware of our presence. So generally not what we expected and the high priced evening was disappointing. Good job for Vecchia that we were not michelin inspectors. I do not think this restaurant warrants it one star status.

More than a restaurant I would say a modern art museum where a Masterchef outdoor show takes place... the refinement of the environment but above all of the dishes make this restaurant a work of art.

Friendly staff, tasty, surprising creations based on Italian cuisine. An evening-long event in a fantastic ambience with a bit of different background music.

Stella Michelin più che meritata. Vista splendida sul Lago di Garda. Ho preso il menù vegetariano davvero eccellente con abbinamenti insoliti e belli da vedere. Staff preparato e disponibile. Ho davvero apprezzato la possibilità di scegliere menù diversi per lo stesso tavolo.. cosa che non ho mai trovato in altri ristoranti stellati.

Pranzo di lavoro. La location è molto bella; peccato non sia servita da parcheggio. Prendiamo il menu classico; particolare è molto buono. Una bottiglia di tempus vivendi; 2 bottiglie d’acqua; 2 caffè. Totale € 303,00. Più che congruo.
