And nothing! They outdid themselves! Yesterday I had an off-menu risotto with pumpkin, sausage, and thyme-infused oil: A DELICIOUS! The perfect balance of flavors and perfect cooking were incredible. For my second course, soy stew with peas, excellent too.

Excellent dinner, mushrooms and polenta, really good. The waitress was very kind. Next time I'll try the pizza; they say it's excellent too.

03/05/2026: The kindness and willingness to welcome us even went so far as to reserve a table for two, which quickly became a table for four, even making room for the children. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impeccable, without making us feel like just another tourist. The mixed grilled fish was excellent, as was the mixed fried fish. The bill was honest and served with a smile. Recommended.
03/04/2026: Well, we've known La Forgia for at least 20 years and have always enjoyed eating there! Today I wasn't happy. The luccio in salsa was dry, bland, uninspired, and unworthy! The seafood risotto was al dente, but without the fish! The trotta was excellent! The house wine was overpriced at €10 for 0.5 liters. What a shame... Perhaps it was just a fluke? What's annoying is that the crisps are cleared away almost as soon as the main course is finished... they would go well with the leftover wine...
