23/03/2026: At the end of March, Bardolino wasn't very busy, but Casanova was almost empty. Nevertheless, we took a seat and were warmly welcomed with an aperitif and a complimentary amuse-bouche. The pizzas we ordered were also delicious, and like all the drinks, they offered good value for money. We'd gladly come back.

31/03/2026: A hidden gem, a fantastic Spritz, perfect for an aperitif or coffee, very fair prices (cappuccino €1.80, Spritz €4.50). Lovely setting under the arcades with seating on the steps, a very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommended; we've returned several times to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town. It's still very easy to reach and offers a lovely view.

20/12/2025: We ate well, from appetizers to dessert, and even coffee. The menu offers a few dishes, some of which are original. The restaurant is well-maintained and has a lovely atmosphere. A lovely place, we were pleasantly satisfied. If I may suggest the staff (two blonde women served us) show a little empathy and a few more smiles, it wouldn't hurt. We'll definitely be back.

14/12/2025: Marco and Martina are the new, young management. They put all their effort into it, dedicating attention and love. I organized two dinners together, and they met all my needs. All the guests were satisfied. Me too!

13/04/2026: This was by far the best culinary experience I have had in Italy! It was further enhanced by our wonderful waitress, Mafalda! Her recommendations were excellent. We tried the papardelle with duck, the bigoli with donkey, the veal with mushrooms, and the horse pastissada as our main dishes. She suggested an excellent wine pairing for the horse and finished everything with great dessert pairings of Sofgliatine and Tiramisu. Mafalda has a gorgeous personality! This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon! Thank you again for a wonderful dinner!

12/04/2026: Friendly and fast service, truly excellent food and wine, perhaps the best place in the historic center to eat authentic Veronese food. The prices are more than fair!

21/04/2026: We usually go to this restaurant once or twice a year. The service is always quite cold, not particularly friendly. But the food is okay. This past week, after Easter, we went again and wanted to change a dish for our daughter. We were rudely refused; they said changes to the dishes weren't possible... end of story. That was outrageous; we'll never go there again. Maybe they're serving ready-made meals that are just heated up in a machine... who knows.

09/04/2026: Local eatery with a nice atmosphere. Few tables, so come early. Friendly and attentive service. Local food, good selection of wine. Homemade pasta. We have eaten in many places in Malcesine over the years, but think this is the best restaurant in Malcesine.

08/06/2025: I had the best pistachio croissant ever here! It was so good, so fresh and simply delicious! I’ve had many pistachio croissants, but this was the best one! I tried it fresh from the oven, it was so warm and so delicious. Also the coffee here is great too! I recommend!

07/06/2025: The cappuccino was wonderfully creamy, and the pistachio croissants were absolutely delicious! No wonder I went there several times for breakfast—and eventually even bought some coffee beans to take home.

10/04/2026: After a lovely hike in the Roncà hills, before heading home, we stopped at this trattoria. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, despite it being a very busy weekday. We ate delicious first courses (fettuccine with asparagus and peas, rabbit and porcini mushrooms, and abigoli with duck). The second courses were equally excellent and plentiful: the Vicenza-style cod, lamb chops with polenta, accompanied by delicious wild chicory and baked potatoes. The desserts were also good. The only dish we weren't entirely satisfied with was the charcuterie board, which was sparse and the quality of the product didn't live up to the traditional cured meats of Lessinia. The coffee wasn't very good either, probably because it was roasted incorrectly. Overall, the quality/price ratio was acceptable. Quality

30/11/2025: We saw an ad for this place on Facebook and went there on Sunday evening. The staff were all friendly and served us pizza slices of our choice, with various flavors, all delicious. They also have seafood and vegan options. The place is welcoming and modern. The price is average. If we're passing through, we'll definitely stop in. The pizza is very good, easy to digest, light, and crispy on the outside.

17/04/2026: We stopped at this restaurant by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. The place is beautifully decorated, the service excellent, with detailed explanations of the cuts of meat, and the quality is top notch. Above all, the value for money was excellent.

12/04/2026: The meat was very good; we had a tasting of the ribeye steaks. The waiters were also friendly. Overall, I recommend trying this place.

28/02/2026: Nestled among the Valpolicella vineyards in a quiet setting away from busy roads, El Pendola restaurant is intimate, welcoming, and romantic. We dined on delicious, tasty, and high-quality local dishes. The extremely friendly staff is always attentive to detail. We'll be back, but this time we'll start with the desserts. I couldn't try them because I was too full, but they look amazing.
