A place in South Verona where you can enjoy delicious craft beers made on site. Guided tour of the brewery with explanations of how their beer is created. The brewmaster is excellent. Beer tasting followed by a burger. A small but cozy pub with friendly and attentive staff. In the evenings, you can also enjoy live music while sitting outside. I highly recommend it!

A pub where you can drink and eat very well. The beer production is truly exceptional, there's something for everyone. The staff is really nice and courteous. 👍 I already knew their draft beers, and it's even more satisfying. You can also buy the beers in a gift box, highly recommended. 😋

A super interesting brewery tour in a rustic and laid-back setting. Kudos to Giorgia, who showed us around and explained how craft beer is made in a simple and precise manner. The beer samples were more than I expected (and I'd say excellent), along with the appetizers (which were practically the entire place). I highly recommend it. I've been frequenting this place for ages, but I've never stopped to praise the exceptional quality of this quiet corner of Verona's Zai district. The place is always extraordinarily welcoming, the staff is highly trained and knowledgeable in helping you choose the perfect beer for your palate, and the food is exceptional—definitely a cut above the usual beer halls! Very nice place; so-so beers, food (fries) overall. A well-deserved 5 stars for the Wednesday music night, truly on par with the best international venues.

Really nice place, quite intimate and with their own beers.

I'll start with the positives: the guys were great and friendly, the service was quick and flawless. The place has some nice, humorous paintings on the walls about the world of beer. I went on a Wednesday night and probably didn't hit the spot because the atmosphere was very dark and subdued, and the location isn't the best (a one-way street in the industrial area of ​​southern Verona). I didn't like the beer, but the food was decent. I'll be back to try other beers to raise my score a bit, because the guys deserve better. Maybe on a weekend for a more engaging and festive atmosphere.

I stumbled upon Mastro Matto by chance on a weekday evening, invited for a drink to take advantage of a Smartbox, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The place is small but welcoming, the atmosphere informal, and, since there were only a few people there during our visit, it was quiet and pleasant. The Smartbox included a tasting of three small beers for two people each and a tour of the brewery, the "value" of which we actually converted into appetizers. The young man who served us was truly knowledgeable and friendly, carefully explaining all six of their beers (we decided to each order three different beers, all different, and split them so we could try them all), as well as the cicchetti (tastes) chosen to accompany each drink, the brewery system (which you can still see from the windows inside), and a bit of beer history in general (he even let us smell the different types of hops). It's hard to find such attentive service when you use a Smartbox, where you're usually a second-rate customer. We then finished with a small platter of cured meats, cheeses, and giardiniera, accompanied by gnocco fritto and various baked goods, which we then paid for. The two small bottles of water and coffee were included in the Smartbox. We were able to chat for a long time, enjoy excellent dishes and excellent beers, and have a truly enjoyable evening. I highly recommend the place!

Excellent beers, you can taste the craftsmanship, and so can the food. There's a DJ set, so it's a bit noisy given the size of the place, but we were notified when we booked, so their honesty was greatly appreciated. The staff are very friendly and quick to take orders. Reservations are recommended. We'll be back.
