Lovely spot for lunch before we went round the museum/gallery. Friendly service and outstanding food. Good wine list. We sat inside in air conditioned comfort but the patio was shaded and cooler too. Highly recommended.

A definite recommendation! The tourist restaurants on Piazza Erbe are only 100 meters away, but Ristorante Maffei is worlds apart in terms of cuisine and plays in a different league! For example, we had the best vitello tonnato we've ever eaten. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant in an impressive setting. Air con interior dining or better still dine in the courtyard. Food is excellent and an impressive wine cellar. Waitress’s are attentive but not over bearing.

Dining inside and outside in a quiet courtyard. Although outside was in the shade in the evening when we visited it was still very hot so we decided to relocate inside where it was air conditioned. Great atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who regularely asked if everything was OK. Great food & service. Would definately visit again if we return to Verona

Friendly service delicious food in this beautiful restaurant with a lovely outside terrace as well as air conditioned interior. The menu is inventive with some clever variations on classic foods We really enjoyed all the dishes and an excellent Amarone too.

An elegant restaurant serving elaborate dishes and small portions. The waiters are very kind, helpful, and professional. Enjoyable dining both in the Palazzo Maffei courtyard and in the air-conditioned interior rooms. Prices are a bit high for the area.

Simply divine. We chose this restaurant for our wedding and couldn't have made a better choice. The food was top-notch, the service impeccable, attentive to our every request and more... 25/02/2026: Company lunch. Decent food... risotto (with hand-sliced ​​meat) overcooked and too much cinnamon. Boiled meats were good, but nothing exceptional. Very good dining room service.
