21/04/2026: We usually go to this restaurant once or twice a year. The service is always quite cold, not particularly friendly. But the food is okay. This past week, after Easter, we went again and wanted to change a dish for our daughter. We were rudely refused; they said changes to the dishes weren't possible... end of story. That was outrageous; we'll never go there again. Maybe they're serving ready-made meals that are just heated up in a machine... who knows.

09/04/2026: Local eatery with a nice atmosphere. Few tables, so come early. Friendly and attentive service. Local food, good selection of wine. Homemade pasta. We have eaten in many places in Malcesine over the years, but think this is the best restaurant in Malcesine.

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was incredibly beautiful and pleasant for a relaxed dinner. The food was excellent, all dishes were carefully prepared and very tasty. I would especially praise the veal liver, which was simply excellent - perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Definitely a restaurant that we will be happy to visit again and recommend to others. 06/05/2026: A truly wonderful evening! There were eight of us at Stella d’Italia, and we felt perfectly at ease from the very first minute. The restaurant manager personally took the time to create a special menu for us – a lovely gesture that made the evening truly memorable. The pasta with anchovies was a real highlight that everyone loved. Despite the size of our group, the service was attentive at all times, and the food was consistently excellent. Highly recommended! 21/07/2026: I was in the area, so I decided to stop by based on the good reviews. I must say I did very well, as I found first and foremost a warm and attentive welcome inside the place, followed by the quality of the food. The staff is very knowledgeable about the selection, especially the pizzas with various toppings. A welcome aperitif with pizza bread and mortadella, served as soon as you sit down, is a much appreciated and unique gesture (very few places do this). The quality and quantity of the dishes, in my opinion, are above average. As for the prices, they are slightly higher than regular pizzerias or restaurants by at least three or four euros, especially for fish, but most likely the surcharge is due to the quality of the product offered. I recommend it!

08/06/2026: Amazing tortellini, I highly recommend them. The location is really nice, especially if you're eating outside. The meat is very good, the chicken delicious; you can tell it's not farm-raised. Unfortunately, the dessert wasn't very popular, as it was too creamy for a mille-feuille. Another negative was the woman at a nearby table who was smoking.

12/02/2026: Disappointing lunch break experience. The burger was mediocre, nothing special in terms of quality or taste. What really left me perplexed, however, was having to pay 50 cents for a simple plastic bowl to take away the leftover food, thus avoiding waste. I find it inconsistent to charge for a container when someone is trying to avoid throwing away food, especially during a time when there's so much talk about sustainability and the fight against food waste. A gesture of customer care would have been much more appreciated.

02/11/2025: I took my family to Verona for a visit, and intrigued by the positive reviews, I tried this place for lunch. The reviews were absolutely confirmed: the atmosphere was friendly, the food delicious, and the owners were very kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

07/05/2026: Every time I come back here, I'm always satisfied. The renovated space is beautiful, modern, and welcoming. Despite this, the staff makes you feel right at home. The main ingredient is trout, and if you come here, you can be sure you're in the right place if you want to eat fresh, locally sourced trout. The Ferrazza appetizer is phenomenal, as is the tagliolini with trout. The grilled trout is a must. Excellent value.

12/06/2026: Very centrally located and specializing in meatballs! For aperitifs, we had spritz and meatballs, which were truly excellent, especially the arancini with sausage. The service was good and the location very convenient. Recommended for a good aperitif.

13/04/2026: A guesthouse with a special charm: no hyper-modern furnishings, but lovingly decorated rooms with playful decor. From old pictures and colorful walls to charmingly decorated teddy bears. The owner is exceptionally friendly (even though she doesn't speak English), and the breakfast is extensive and very good. We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back.
