It's like so often in Italy: you drive through fields, towns like everywhere else, industrial parks, and then, around the next bend, you arrive at a sensational place. This one, where Lo Stappo is located, is no longer a hidden gem. But it's definitely worth the trip. Lo Stappo is right in the heart of things, and you won't be disappointed with the food. If the two waiters who attended our table had had the same friendly charm as the host who welcomed us so warmly, it would easily have earned five stars.

The portions were rather small, but the food tasted good overall. We really enjoyed the spaghetti, but the steak was unfortunately disappointing.
During our visit, we were only offered water, and after that, no one asked if we wanted anything else to drink or order anything. The restaurant felt very hectic, which is understandable when it was busy, but this restlessness affected us, preventing us from truly enjoying our meal.
Some waiters were very friendly and attentive, while others seemed rather grumpy. Furthermore, when clearing our table, the bread basket was simply snatched away without asking if we were finished. This unfortunately didn't leave a very attentive impression.

Five stars up to the trio of tortelli. Alas, it loses a couple of stars with the duck breast and baked potatoes... microwaved, perhaps? In any case, the second half of the meal wasn't up to par. The house wine was also excellent.

An absolute highlight! Super friendly service, a fantastic setting, beautiful tableware, a great selection of dishes, and the food was simply incredible! The ravioli with saffron sauce, the steak tartare, and the buffalo mozzarella with prawns were simply heavenly. Highly recommended!!

Quick aperitif, prompt and helpful service.
A very beautiful and simple location, we were practically on the water with the ducks.

Our favorite spot of the trip (and we explored Peschiera quite a bit!)! A lovely place, a shaded and breezy terrace overlooking the water, top-notch service, and absolutely DELICIOUS food! Everything was perfect!
