A very good restaurant with fantastic ravioli specialties. Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. The wine selection is excellent and perfectly complements the food. Beautiful location and pleasant atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing evening. Highly recommended.

Fantastic restaurant in a superb location. It's a second-generation family-run establishment with very friendly owners. The food was excellent; we had the four-course menu with local pasta and wine. The ambiance is unbeatable, and the riverside location is magnificent. Highly recommended!

We went to Lo Stappo for lunch, in the beautiful lakeside location seen in the photo, and the experience was truly positive. The atmosphere was bright, relaxed, and made special by the sound of the water and the quaint village setting: a perfect place to enjoy a few quiet hours. We ate very well: everything was tasty and well-prepared, with the squid undoubtedly the highlight, tender and flavorful. A major plus was the gluten-free options: my wife was able to eat safely and with satisfaction. If I had to find a small criticism, the gluten-free first courses could have been a bit more numerous, but the quality of the dishes made up for it. And then there's the bathroom, where you have to queue at the bar next door. The friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, and a natural setting make the lunch truly special. A restaurant worth it.

The restaurant terraza is very nice , you have to make reservations before to go . The waitress are gentle. But the dishes., first dishes were ok. But for second i asked pasta with prawns and it was very difficult to find them in my dish...you can see the picture. The chefs only put 2 tiny peaces . It's not worth paying the price, to eat that . I'm sorry not going anymore.

Awesome restaurant, after amazing experience we decided to eat there again in the following day. Take the fish, a dish for 2 ppl, actually all dishes were perfect

This small town is considered, and rightly so, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Strolling through the narrow streets, fascinated by the various structures equipped with fully functioning water mills, we notice "Lo stappo." The season allows us to stop in the summer terrace, completely surrounded by the river. For our appetizer, I choose "pike in sauce with polenta" followed by "leek and Asiago omelette." All washed down with a good Lugana wine. The flavors are truly excellent, so we decide to round off the meal with a cheese selection and a glass of passito. I therefore end this experience on a high note, knowing I've chosen a place that probably has every reason to envy other restaurants in the area.

One of the most enchanting locations in Borghetto, they give us a nice table on the riverside. We start with an appetizer of 2 pike in Gardesana sauce with 4 delicious slices of fried polenta. Followed by the classic trio of tortelli, €20 each, for a couple it's €40. It includes a generous portion of love knot tortellini, one of 3 pumpkin tortelli, one of 3 tortelli with Robiola and lemon cream, saffron and prawns. The 3 tortelli on the plates aren't many, but they are large. There is certainly quality and a desire to amaze, but in terms of personal taste, as I told the very kind waiter, Robiola lemon etc., you can only taste the saffron that dominates everything. As a true Milanese, I felt like I was eating the famous risotto. The Valeggio sfogliatina with mascarpone cream was excellent, actually they are two puff pastries convenient for a couple to share. Superb service and kindness! There are many interesting dishes on the menu. We'll be back, table permitting, for more tastings. I'm attaching a photo. Best regards, Paolo
