16/07/2026: A very authentic place tucked away in a cozy inner courtyard. The deep shade keeps you perfectly cool even when it is 30 degrees outside. The food is spot on. They serve an honest lasagna, but my absolute favorite is the local pasta trop - a great way to taste a few different flavors at once. The staff speaks English, but if you drop a couple of Italian words, you are guaranteed to get the warmest smile) Highly recommend checking it out.

20/07/2026: After visiting the splendid cathedral, we stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance. It's far removed from the usual tourist fare, very refined, with welcoming staff. It offers traditional local dishes, impeccably cooked and presented, to be enjoyed in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The selection of cured meats and cheeses is excellent, as is the wide selection of wines. Highly recommended!

12/07/2026: I had already tried their takeout pizza and I can say it was EXCEPTIONAL. The top-quality ingredients and the dough were truly light. I was very pleased because when I got home, the pizza was still crispy, as if it had just been taken out of the oven, unlike many other pizzerias. This evening, we decided to eat it directly at the pizzeria, and I can say it exceeded my expectations. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a very kind employee. He took us to the table and informed us that a small aperitif would be on the house. We gladly accepted it. The menu was very extensive and well-organized. We ordered two simple Quattro Stagioni pizzas, which were EXCEPTIONAL. At the end, they also offered us two licorice creams. We really enjoyed it, and for what we spent, you're now only paying for one person. 2 aperitifs offered 2 Quattro Stagioni pizzas 2 waters 2 coffees 2 licorice creams 2 covers Total: €26 Same evening, at other places, we spent €40

25/07/2026: We went by recommendation and it was the best restaurant we’ve been in Italy so far (and we’ve been multiple times). The food is really good and they had recipes we hadn’t seen before. The pasta was al dente. The surroundings were beautiful. The waiters were nice, friendly and helpful. A 10/10.

25/07/2026: We had a wonderful experience at Osteria Rivelin. Everything was delicious! The Bigoli con le Sarde is an absolute must-try and one of the highlights of the meal. The meat was also excellent, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We really enjoyed the appetizer with cured meats and cheeses, which was fresh and very tasty. The tiramisu is a bit different from the traditional version, but it was absolutely delicious and worth trying. The outdoor terrace is lovely and creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the area!

22/07/2026: We had a delicious lunch today! We ended up here because of the good reviews and had an hour to spare for our lunch before the boat departed back to Lazise. We really enjoyed our meal! The pasta, pizza, potatoes, and salad were truly superb. And it was incredibly hospitable to receive a welcome drink. Moreover, we also received a pizza blanco on the house. However, there are a few points for improvement: - The place opens at 12:00, and we were sitting on the terrace at exactly that time. However, the door didn't open until ten minutes later. So, too late. - The waiter didn't speak English and was very stiff at the beginning. It did get better after that, though, and we did our best in our best Italian. It was a delicious lunch, and we were back at the boat right on time.

31/05/2026: Dare I say the BEST pasta we had on our entire two week trip in Italy? Stopped here on a whim and had no idea I was about to have the best bite of my life. My husband’s pasta was also divine. If you’re in Verona, do not skip this restaurant! The house wine was also some of our favorite wine of the trip! Plus, you can sit out, sip wine, and stare at a castle, how cool is that?

15/06/2026: Since we first went to Malcesine in 2024 we came back in June of this year. On the first day we tried to go it was raining and the hostess The girl was incredibly rude. She said that there was no table even though that after we left, she gave the table away to another group of people. We were four people, and I thought that that was very cruel and disrespectful. We luckily went there a second time and it was better. It was a sunny day and there was a lot of spot again for people we ordered our stuff that I ordered the hazelnut spread gelato. Very good. I really think that the owner does make very good gelato on the third day we went back and it was also very good. I got the. Sachet 3.0 very decadent. I loved how the gelato was made. It had very good chocolate toppings. I just wanna make sure that I did not really appreciate the disrespect that we kind of had but overall the gelato is very good.

The dinner began with a sensational start, with finger food and delicacies of every kind, top-quality and abundant. The dinner was refined, and the wedding cake extraordinary. 01/06/2026: Very disappointed! After watching the show "4 Restaurants," I had very high expectations. The garden is beautiful, and the dining room is elegant, refined, and very beautiful, with silver cutlery. The appetizer was good, but that's where we'll stop... Risotto alla Amarone, which doesn't taste like Amarone, is salty and not good, and has a strange flavor. The tagliatelle with duck is even saltier, a portion worth two forkfuls. But the most disappointing thing was the veal cheek with Amarone. The cheek was tender, but the bottom was overly salty and burnt!!!! In hindsight, we should have sent it back. We won't be returning. The dessert was standard, and the service was very slow, but I think that's due to the kitchen, not the waiters. We spent €135 in total for two. What a shame!
