La Bussola In Garda

We had a delicious lunch today! We ended up here because of the good reviews and had an hour to spare for our lunch before the boat departed back to Lazise. We really enjoyed our meal! The pasta, pizza, potatoes, and salad were truly superb. And it was incredibly hospitable to receive a welcome drink. Moreover, we also received a pizza blanco on the house. However, there are a few points for improvement: - The place opens at 12:00, and we were sitting on the terrace at exactly that time. However, the door didn't open until ten minutes later. So, too late. - The waiter didn't speak English and was very stiff at the beginning. It did get better after that, though, and we did our best in our best Italian. It was a delicious lunch, and we were back at the boat right on time.

The pasta al Scoglio is within my top 3 I’ve ever eaten. The carbonara is good, but they don’t use guanciale. Very friendly staff, definitely recommend

Everything was excellent, high-quality products and very attentive waiters. We tried the tagliatelle with salmon and the tagliatelle alla Angelica. A 10 out of 10 for everything, highly recommended.

We happened upon this restaurant and the four of us went there for lunch and dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. All the dishes are excellent and more than ample. The fish dishes are especially recommended. You get an aperitif and a pizza bread as well. As a nice touch, they also offer a limoncello at the end. Overall, this lovely pizzeria comes highly recommended.

This was our very first experience eating out in Lake Garda, it was a Saturday evening. The food was nice & great value for money, however we felt it was very rushed, probably as they were so busy. You get a free non alcoholic ginger drink on being seated, free garlic bread before eating & a Limoncello shot at the end. We've since eaten out at 3 other restaurants & I would say the food quality in comparison, was not the best we've had. However it's still worth a visit.

Tricky... We ordered tagliatelle, pizza, and the T-bone steak. The pizza and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were excellent. However, the steak seems to have room for improvement. Unfortunately, it was far too bland; it looked good, but it was served with just a few arugula leaves and no other side dish. I would recommend the restaurant, but next time I'll order something else.

We spent two weeks in Corsica and stopped for one night at Lake Garda on our way there – and this was still the best gourmet experience of the whole trip - everything was excellent – the seafood, the pizza or the truffle pasta.. The friendly and attentive service, as well as the complimentary aperitif and digestif from the house, made it even more special. Dishes we will remember for a long time – and all for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!
