…here we are again and finally here at the EL GRIO inn… After the Christmas lunch... we did an encore with the Easter one... and look, the success was repeated. As always welcomed by the family and an amazing menu... wine pairing always at the top and description of the same always extremely exhaustive but above all fascinating... food as already mentioned first rate... Once again, a sincere thank you for your professionalism but above all for your wonderful frankness, conviviality and hospitality... at the first opportunity we will travel over 400 km for the 3rd time to come and visit you and be pampered by you. With great esteem and affection, Paola and Bruno.

Known by chance, we chose to make the blind menu with 6 courses decided by the chef with truly particular and fabulous dishes, also with the pairing of local wines. Very kind service, we immediately felt welcomed and at ease. The two brothers who run the inn are two really nice and kind people and this makes everything more special. Excellent value for money! I recommend anyone to stop and eat at least once! We will try to return despite the 200 km! Keep it up because you are amazing!

Went with friends for lunch...discovered the place somewhat by chance...just renovated and run by two young brothers...nice range of dishes, both in terms of pairings and presentation...some very good, others that could be improved. However they deserve trust.

Charming inn with a romantic and family atmosphere. Excellent quality food and wines thanks to chef Nicola who, with his brother Paolo, give the customer the warmth that the customer is looking for Honest prices for the quality found Professionalism and courtesy of all the staff which nowadays you struggle to find in a restaurant

Christmas lunch at Antica Locanda El Grio…Nicola Andreetto Chef…Chef with great cooking and human skills, together with his brother they are the owners of the inn…simple and special people. Thank you for the excellent food but thank you even more for the hospitality, courtesy and family warmth. There are many excellent restaurants but you are also really nice people and this makes you even more unique than rare.

Pranzo di Natale da Antica Locanda El Grio…Nicola Andreetto Chef…Chef dalle grandi doti in cucina ed anche umane, insieme al fratello sono i proprietari della locanda…persone semplici e speciali. Grazie dell’ ottimo cibo ma grazie ancor di più per l’ ospitalità, la cortesia ed il calore familiare. Di ottimi ristoranti c’è ne sono molti, ma voi in più Ssiete proprio delle belle persone e questo vi rende più unici che rari.

We stumbled upon it by chance and I must say that we were really lucky. We took the tasting menu and the dishes were fabulous. The two brothers who run it are very courteous, helpful and professional. Even if outside Soave, it is absolutely worth it. Prices more than fair for the quality offered.

22/04/2024: Pizza nella norma, dimensioni piccoline, rapporto qualità prezzo un po’ caro. Premessa, non sono vegetariano, ma per questioni di dieta dovevo mangiare pizza con verdure. Fra le mille pizze (compresi impasti proteici e light) una sola con solo verdure. No problem, la prendo (pizza “naif”). Davvero anemica, normale trovo le verdure grigliate, in questo caso zucchine lesse a crudo, funghi in barattolo, solo qualche traccia di radicchio e melanzane cubetti; prezzo 11€. La pizza non mi ha sfamato (sono 65kg, quindi non sono uno mangia come un bue). Mia compagna con lo stesso prezzo ha preso una pizza con la burrata, quindi direi che il condimento aveva tutt’altro valore. Pizza comunque buona, nella norma.

25/03/2024: We had dinner the other evening, very good food, nothing to say, well cooked and very fresh fish. We took the fish starter for two people, cost 28 euros; we liked it a lot but the doses were really too small and for this reason we were disappointed, considering the cost of 28 euros. We then had the spaghetti with clams, very good and with top quality clams; It's a shame that the pasta was a little too al dente to my taste, giving the impression that it was pre-cooked pasta. Overall very good, however we considered the price to be exaggerated for the quantities that were brought to us in the starter.
26/02/2024: Brought by friends, it was a pleasant discovery. Very pleasant fish dinner, the mussels were delicious and recommended, but from the first courses to the desserts everything expresses care and love for good food.
