I discovered it by chance while looking for a restaurant for lunch outside Verona on my way back from a weekend getaway. It was exactly what I was looking for! A rustic house, in the countryside among olive groves. It's right next to a crossroads, but we'll find out why later. To enter, you ring the bell, just like at home. The interior has that lunchtime atmosphere, the coolness of rustic stone houses, almost dim light (and given today's heat, it's perfect). Signora Antonia welcomes us and shows us to the table. We're early, and we're the only ones there for now. We discover it's the family home, belonging to her grandmother and aunt (who still lives upstairs), who had a tobacco shop right at the entrance (on the crossroads) and over time has become a restaurant. It really feels like home. Everything is very familiar, meticulously prepared, and simple. Dishes change with the seasons. Pasta is handmade in-house. I recommend the tagliolini al taglio (hand-cut tagliolini) with beef and veal ragù, and the tagliata (sliced ​​steak). Authentic flavors. High-quality products. The atmosphere is perfect for finishing with a coffee; they only make moka pot coffee (I love it) and their own licorice liqueur. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident since we were staying in a hotel close by. The food, the atmosphere, the service, the wine - everything was so delicious. It was so good that we came back two days later. And the food got even better the second time around. Our recommendation: - duck ravioli - tagliata with oil and rosemary - beef filet with balsamic vinegar reduction - and if you ask my dad: the liquorice liquor The meat is the softest you will ever taste!! 100 out of 10 recommend!!

The restaurant is quite expensive for me. There's no menu, everything is told verbally without knowing the prices. The bill was much more than we expected. The food is good, but the portions are decidedly small compared to what you pay.

I went to dinner at Osteria al Donzellino for the first time with my boyfriend. Antonia, the owner, welcomed us as if she already knew us. A historic restaurant in the countryside, we sat in the internal courtyard, and it felt just like one of those dinners you have on vacation. We ate excellent, authentic food, all homemade from the starters to the desserts. It was just like the cuisine you'd eat at home. The owner guided us throughout the evening with advice and a little chat at the table. A truly pleasant discovery, a simple, natural, and welcoming place.

A real highlight. The restaurant is located in a stunning setting, with peace and tranquility providing the backdrop to an old-world villa within which the restaurant is located. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and always available. There were quite a few of us, so we had the opportunity to try practically every dish on offer, each one better than the last! Quality and passion, truly compliments. I highly recommend it.
