Chic restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating overlooking beautiful trees and vineyards. Food is excellent and a lovely fusion of the local produces. Friendly service .

18/08/2025: Trentino always offers wonderful surprises. Just a couple of kilometers from Fiera di Primiero, I recommend a tasty and fun stop. A sensory journey for the senses, both smell and taste. In Mezzano, there's an artist who delights in inspiring emotions with his unique and rare cured meats. He makes them himself, rediscovering ancient traditions and giving voice to the aromas and flavors of the region. Macelleria Bonat is worth more than a visit, as long as you're not in a hurry. Luigi Valline isn't looking for tourists, but for travelers who still have a taste for discovery. Before you taste his delicacies, made with quality ingredients and ancient techniques that don't involve the use of chemicals, you'll have to listen to the "spiegone," as Luigi, a speaker, photographer, musician, and much more, calls it. The "explogone" helps you understand how the lonzetta with wild mint and stevia is made, as well as the guanciale with wild oregano or the speck with BioNoc' beer (another Mezzano excellence, gold and bronze medalist at the 2024 World Beer Championships in Barcelona). A separate chapter is deserved by the mortandela, the ancestor of mortadella, brought back to life and combined with the chef's expertise. We met Luigi and his wife Simonetta thanks to Valerio's guide, but if you want to spend 40 minutes tasting and full of curiosity, it's definitely worth it. In Palermo dialect, we would have summed it up as "U miegghiu" (literally, "I'll migghiu").

Ristorante Grual - Lefay Resort and Spa

15/10/2025: For a special occasion in mid-October, we chose to stay at the Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti, nestled in the woods of Pinzolo. From the moment we entered, we sensed a sense of harmony: wood, stone, and natural light blended together in an elegant architecture perfectly integrated into the landscape. The welcome at reception was attentive and friendly, with attentive staff who were always available and helpful. To reach the suite, you need to use two elevators, a rather unusual choice for a property of this size, making the journey to the room a bit more complicated. The suite is spacious and bright, with a glass wall separating the living area from the bathroom, only partially screened by vertical wooden slats, leaving limited privacy in the shower and tub. The toilet and bidet area, however, was decidedly inadequate: too small, windowless, and separated from the rest of the bathroom by a sliding door, it felt almost claustrophobic. The wooden terrace overlooking the garden and mountains is well-furnished with comfortable sofas, but the view, while pleasant, isn't quite as spectacular as one would expect from a resort of this caliber. Inside, the soft lighting system with switches distributed throughout is practical and intuitive. Upon request, a larger bathrobe was delivered promptly, confirming the efficient service. The spa, the heart of the resort, is spread over three levels: the pool area, the largest and most visible, includes an indoor pool connected to a heated outdoor section; next come the treatment areas and the thermal area, with a sauna, Turkish bath, and two additional pools, one unheated sports pool and one more intimate and warm. The small buffet with biodegradable containers is highly appreciated, a tasteful and environmentally friendly detail. Overall, however, the spa fails to convey the sense of fulfillment one expects from a luxury establishment: when compared to the best mountain resorts, it inevitably falls significantly short. Dinner at the Grual restaurant, already reviewed separately, was excellent and remains the highlight of the entire stay. A good night's sleep was restful, and the bed was comfortable; however, it was surprising that, despite the suite's numerous closets, there were no pillows of varying firmness: only two, both very soft, with no firmer or intermediate options. Breakfast was impressive: a wide selection, quality ingredients, and prompt service. A more than satisfying experience, with high-quality food and meticulous preparation. Comparison with the only other large luxury resort in the area is inevitable, and unfortunately, the Lefay doesn't quite hold up. It remains a pleasant stay, enhanced by excellent cuisine, but it lacks that touch of perfection that transforms a luxury experience into an unforgettable memory.

01/04/2025: It may not look appealing from the outside, but our friends recommended it and we don't regret that we were persuaded. Very tasty food at a good price. Delicious oven-baked pizza, gnocchi with (sage) butter (STRANGOLAPRETI AL BURRO) perfect! I recommend!

La Mia Enoteca is the perfect place! The cellar (open to visitors!) offers a wide and carefully selected selection of wines, as well as many spirits for aperitifs or after-dinner drinks. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the owner Matteo and his wife Paola know how to make guests feel at home with their experience and friendliness. We'll definitely see you again!

Last night I was there with my girlfriend, and it was incredibly delicious. The service was very friendly. The seating was a bit cramped, but that also made it easy to strike up a conversation. I think the prices have gone up slightly, but like everywhere else. It was still great, delicious, and nice.
