16/02/2024: I come in for breakfast, not even a smile or a good morning, things that in my house are the gospel of a bartender. I sit down and the lady manager of the place approaches after at least 3 minutes of waiting with 2 customers inside (in all this the employed waitress who is from central Italy even pretends not to see me). I ask for toast and fruit juice which are brought to me while I read the newspaper. Toast practically made of paper measuring 10x10 cm which sent me running to the bathroom and a pear juice served in a glass that would fit a liter and therefore presents itself to my sight half empty. Furthermore, as far as I know, you don't bring me the fruit juice already decanted into a glass but you open it in front of me and pour it or you leave me the bottle because I have to see what you do with the fruit juice, but then I say you bring me a huge glass and the juice practically fills a quarter of it... something of immense visual sadness. I eat and head towards the cash register to pay in total indifference. But now we get to the main course. A paper toast the size of a hand and a fruit juice 9 euros, a completely crazy price. But I don't bat an eyelid, we are in Val di Fassa so I go to pay and ask for a glass of water. I am given a glass of water which (due to the pressure of the machine, I will find out a second later thanks to the lady's gratuitous outburst) appears cloudy to my sight. I don't even say a word, only that if I ask you for a glass of water and you, with a yellow face, bring me a glass with a substance inside that resembles the bleach used shortly before in the bathroom, at least I'll try for a moment to find out what it is. deals with. The "lady" accuses me immediately and says the exact words to me in an almost threatening manner: "My goodness, you're so suspicious, I don't want to poison you"... But I don't understand who told you anything. And then if you wanted to be a professional person you turn to me with a smile and explain to me with the necessary politeness, you don't act like a mafioso who woke up badly. In any case I paid and said so so that it could be understood. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. And as I was leaving the lady in question even said "What patience that takes...". In addition to the fact that breakfast was expensive and of low quality, do I also have to deal with the stress and rudeness of the lady who works there? EVEN NO, BYE.

24/03/2024: I went there 2 times, once at the beginning of the winter season and once at the end of the season... unfortunately I didn't have time but I wanted to compliment the delicious spring rolls... too bad it's in a hidden place... Kindness and courtesy are the best, especially Mr. Riccardo

27/02/2024: It was a real pleasure to be back at this hotel 34 years after i was here several years in a row with my parents. This place has not lost any of it charm and excellent service. The level of the staff is wonderful and so is the half board service. 200 metres from the slopes and a shuttle service at your call. It is so nice to be back and i will book for hopefully many years to come.

17/02/2024: Fantastic hotel in the center of Vigo di Fassa. A stone's throw from the ski resorts. Excellent sweet and savory breakfast, comfortable rooms and qualified staff. Winter stay.

03/03/2024: Excellent hotel near the QC spa! Structure well kept and clean, even if quite retro in taste. But the rooms are very nice and comfortable! Friendly and helpful staff, excellent price. Semi-covered private parking available.

06/02/2024: The Hotel and the Restaurant...wonderfull! Practically home. We always come back.

11/03/2024: Festeggiato il compleanno alla Grotta e tutto è stato, come sempre, delizioso. Ottima qualità, a giusto prezzo, con un grande servizio

08/03/2024: Adoro la Grotta, vado ogni anno da 20 anni ormai ed è una garanzia. Gli Spatzle sono i migliori che abbia mangiato, le porzioni abbondanti e gustose. La pizza è deliziosa, fina e croccante e anche facile da digerire. Anche i dolci che variano spesso sono buonissimi.

15/03/2024: Nella media come cibo e prezzi, l'unica qualità per cui spicca questo posto è la maleducazione del personale. In sequenza la cameriera ci ha dato una serie di risposte in tono scortese arrivando addirittura a sbuffarci in faccia mentre controllava le briciole che nostro figlio di un anno aveva fatto con il pane sulla tovaglia. Non sono solita fare recensioni negative (scrivo sempre e solo per posti in cui mi trovo bene) ma questo posto mi sento di sconsigliarlo a tutti.

06/10/2023: Conoscevamo già questa ottima pizzeria ma non l'avevamo mai provata da asporto. Abbiamo telefonato perchè non riuscivamo a vedere il menu online e molto gentilmente me lo hanno girato su whatsapp. Pizza buona come sempre.

19/02/2024: Unfortunately I am writing this review after having been there for a few months and learning that the restaurant is closed for now due to a lack of manpower. We stayed while my wife was pregnant and they were very thorough and punctual with all requests. Excellent food quality and they have wines from niche cellars. If it reopens sooner or later we recommend!
