29/07/2026: We went there specifically during a family vacation, and as soon as we arrived, I loved the place. Simple yet charming. There's a great atmosphere, and the company and surrounding nature make it even more charming. The beer is spectacular; I've never had anything like it! The other drinks are also very good! The platter is extensive and of excellent quality. Good prices. I'll definitely be back when I return to Val di Fiemme :)

12/08/2026: Unique and exemplary interest in customers. After the waiter told us that they had no more free tables, suddenly one table became free and immediately after that the waiter ran out into the street after us and called out that they had one free table, so if we were interested, it was now or never. Of course we went right away, without hesitation. Incredibly friendly, almost homely approach. Very attentive and kind service. Great food. Prices correspond to the quality of the dishes. Homely atmosphere, as if we were visiting someone's home. Highly recommended! When we are in this region again, we will definitely visit this establishment again! Thank you very much!

When I called, the place was full, but if a table became available, they would have contacted me again, and so it was, and we were practically already seated.
The staff was top-notch. Excellent hospitality (rare to find around).
The prices, in my opinion, are worth the price.
The atmosphere is clean and the service is top-notch.
Parking is available outside the restaurant/pizzeria, which is open to the public, but you can almost always find a spot.
I've been here before for both the pizza and the restaurant, and I highly recommend it for both. Don't miss the gnocco fritto, a typical Emilian dish—AWESOME.

04/07/2026: The food isn't bad, the prices aren't transparent or adequate, and the service isn't attentive. There are many other mountain huts where you'll be treated better and, above all, with more transparent prices.

06/07/2026: What a beautiful meal we had here. The owners were so kind and dedicated to their restaurant. Our toddler loved seeing the animals around the grounds, especially the peacock.
Their risotto was the best we have ever had. All of the fish dishes we ate were full of flavor and absolutely delicious.

We found a level of customer service that isn't to be taken for granted in some Michelin-starred restaurants; it's worth the trip!

11/08/2026: Everything was delicious, especially the mushrooms, and the beef and venison goulash were amazing! Worth a visit! We'll be back.
10/08/2026: The service was a bit chaotic. We had a reservation for 7 PM on Sunday evening, as we had two small children. When we arrived, there were still only a few customers. Despite all this, we waited an hour for five pizzas and a slice of beef. It's a shame because the place is really nice. I won't be back.

31/05/2026: Excellent pizzeria with a wide selection of pizzas. Good pizza, excellent dough, and perfectly cooked. We even found a table by calling last minute, but it wasn't high season. During the summer or winter months, or on weekends, it's definitely best to book. Average value for money.

The bartenders are expert and always smiling. :) Really beautiful location, with attention to every detail. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

02/04/2026: Thanks to a friend's recommendation, we arrived at the restaurant at 7:45 PM. We didn't have a reservation, so I politely asked if there was a table available. I was told the table would be free in an hour. I then asked if it would be possible to have an aperitif at the counter and wait for the table to become free. My request was met with confusion, wide-eyed faces, and vague responses such as "no, we serve aperitifs first" or "we can't," as if I'd asked the impossible of someone who works, or should work, in the restaurant and hospitality sector in a tourist-oriented location. And yet, the counter looked very nice and the seats were comfortable. I should point out that I was dealing with two people from two completely different generations, which makes me think we're in a pretty dire situation.
26/03/2026: I live there for 2 months because I was working in Tesero. The hotel is very nice. It felt like a home thanks to the staff!

02/07/2026: Pastries in Cavalese are generally expensive. A small snowflake pastry costs €3. This seems excessive to me. Three small pastries, a barley coffee, a macchiato, and a cappuccino cost €15. Too expensive. In Florence, they're much cheaper. I advise owners to display their prices at the counter.

04/01/2026: A decent place with plenty of options. Dinner with family and friends was delicious, and the kids ate everything without a problem.

03/01/2026: Average-low quality food, overpriced. A ridiculous sandwich made with industrial bread that you find in supermarkets. Two lettuce leaves, a slice of tomato, and a meat burger, probably 250g but maybe less, for €13 without a side. Hamburger sandwiches usually come with fries included in the price, but not here (if I had fries, the price would have been €20). It's really too much.
Anyway, that sort of normal sandwich that I make better at home, and a beef fillet, also very small, without a side, 1 water and 1 beer, €52. I think you're exaggerating.

05/08/2026: Decent food, reasonable service, and reasonable prices. It's an ideal place for families with children, given the many games and activities for kids.
05/08/2026: We chose the lasagna with venison ragù, a delicious dish. The meat is incredibly tender and melts in your mouth. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. In fact, we returned for another lasagna two days later.

23/04/2026: Overall, a disappointing experience.
We ordered: strangolapreti (acceptable), Teroldego risotto (good), tagliata (beef steak), and two strudels with ice cream, as well as two 0.33 liter beers.
Positive notes: The Teroldego risotto was well-made, creamy, and enjoyable; the strangolapreti were average.
Concerns: The tagliata (beef steak) was tender but flavorless, lacking character. The two strudels with ice cream were the real downside: hard, lacking in flavor, and almost inedible (one was left half-eaten).
Poor value for money: €79 for a meal that, aside from the risotto, didn't meet expectations.
Suggestion: pay more attention to the quality and freshness of the desserts and more care in preparing the meat.
I don't think we'll be back.
