13/05/2026: One of the most delicious restaurants we've tried in all of northern Italy! We stayed three nights at Molfino and dined there three times. Each time, the food was incredibly delicious and flavorful, and the service was wonderful—friendly, fast, and reasonably priced.
I recommend the grilled fish dishes, especially the red tomato-based fish, which were delicious, juicy, and spicy. I also recommend the fried saldrina with a layer of bread, prepared in the traditional Molfino style (steamed and suitable for children). It comes with a generous portion of delicious boiled vegetables. It's one of the most beautiful cuisines I've ever tasted, and the chef and dishes are fantastic, especially for Arab and Gulf cuisine.
The vegetable soup with beans is perfect for cold weather, and the portion is generous. 👍🏻
Brother Karim Al-Maghribi was very welcoming, friendly, polite, and provided fast service. He also gave excellent recommendations. May God reward him! He's truly creative. 🌟

10/05/2026: We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant by chance. The welcome and service were excellent. There was a wide selection of dishes and superb presentation. The dishes we tried were excellent and plentiful. A truly exceptional discovery. We will definitely be back.

20/03/2026: Terrible! The waiter was extremely rude! He packed 9 of us into 2 small connected tables that could fit 4 people. When we said in English that we couldn't eat like that and that 9 dishes wouldn't fit, he cursed at us quietly in Italian, not knowing that some of us spoke Italian. I wanted to spread his teeth on the floor, but he ran away and hid behind the bar.
14/03/2026: Nice service, good food. Restaurant at a high level, they have good not only pizza but also other food. As a bonus, excellent prosecco.. prices are not exorbitant. I recommend. It is better to book seats in advance in case of larger groups.

09/06/2026: Great prices with that view couldn’t believe it. And the staff was really welcoming and friendly to foreign speakers. The kitchen is closed after 2:30pm till evening hours but they have desserts that are absolutely gorgeous- highly recommend the tiramisu and apple strudel. The aperitifs were great, including the spritzes, negronis’s and trento doc wine.

13/05/2026: We would have loved to eat a pizza, but unfortunately we were refused entry because we (like many campers) had our dog with us.
09/05/2026: We dined at this restaurant in September 2025 and unfortunately experienced very poor service from the waitress. She was rude and disrespectful to Arab tourists simply because we were Arab.
The village is beautiful and the people are kind, except for that rude waitress.

11/01/2026: 5 stars for everything, beautiful place, the food is good and the prices are very good, we ate pasta with tomato sauce, even if it is a very simple dish it was very good, well presented and very important the pasta was cooked perfectly, then the coffee was also very good and they brought us some little pieces of chocolate which they also make the best, the staff were very kind and it is something I really appreciate as a customer, we will definitely be back ... well done Compliments ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We didn't eat, but we stopped for a break from cross-country skiing in the afternoon.
19/11/2025: The location struck me as very charming, nestled among the mountains with a relaxing view of the valley. As soon as I sat down, I noticed the very friendly and helpful service: the waiters were attentive and patient.
The menu offers typical dishes from the Aosta Valley: I ordered a well-prepared polenta concia and their exquisite homemade gelato (photo), both well-executed and with distinct flavors. I also appreciated the platters of local cheeses and cured meats.
The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, with an outdoor lawn where you can relax after your meal. The restaurant can get crowded outside, but it still offers a sincere and informal welcome. I recommend booking at least the day before.
In short: if you're looking for a quiet lunch with local dishes and attentive service in a natural setting, Chalet MontDolent is a very good choice.
