30/03/2026: We had lunch; the place was almost empty since it was a Monday, so I can't comment on the restaurant's busy schedule. However, we had excellent and fast service, and the pizza and other dishes were very good. Recommended.

08/09/2025: Very welcoming place, friendly and fast staff. Yesterday, upon returning from the Rifugio Larcher, we were warmly welcomed. The dishes are exquisite, and the prices are reasonable for the quality, but, in my opinion, never excessive. Overall, a lovely stop for a break.

07/04/2026: Stayed for 4 days in June. Fantastic 4-star hotel with a pool and wellness area. The furnishings and layout are typically mountain-style, blending perfectly with the modern spaces and rooms. My room, called ADLER, was about 50 square meters and featured an entrance hall with a sofa and a 43" TV, separated from the bedroom by pocket doors. The bedroom, which was over 30 square meters, had a 43" TV and a sitting area, two balconies, two French windows, and two windows. The bathroom was beautiful, and the bed had a topper. Top-notch food and service, and wonderful staff.

28/12/2025: During the Christmas holidays, we stayed at the Hotel Alpino in Peio Fonti, and the experience was truly unforgettable. The owner, Katia, was extremely kind and always available, ready to recommend activities and helpful tips, especially for us, who were beginners in skiing.
The quality of the food was excellent, with a different menu every day and options designed for children. The room was cozy, clean, and equipped with every comfort, including a professional hairdryer and impeccable daily cleaning.
Also noteworthy was the wellness area, featuring a swimming pool, spa with sauna and Turkish bath, and hot tubs. Silvia, too, provided an impeccable welcome: she was very kind, affectionate, and always available.
We also appreciated the free tastings organized within the hotel, which allowed us to discover typical local products. The magical snowfall on Christmas Eve made the atmosphere even more enchanting, with a splendid view of the mountains directly from our room.
Nearby, you'll also find an information point, a pastry shop, the Peio spa, a ski school, and equipment rentals, as well as the cable car to the top.
A truly perfect stay for the whole family. Thank you!

11/09/2025: AN EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEVER WANT TO RETURN FROM. PROFESSIONAL, HELPFUL STAFF. LUCA AND GIUSEPPE ARE HELPFUL AND SUNNY. THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS IS EXCELLENT. THERE IS AN ALMOST FAMILY ATMOSPHERE, BUT ALWAYS WITH THE APPROPRIATE RESPECT. DEFINITELY REPEATED, PERHAPS ON WARMER DAYS, SO YOU CAN ENJOY EXPERIENCES LIKE THE BATH IN THE TUB AND THE HAY BED WITH MORE PEACE OF MIND.

28/02/2026: We went with friends to "Festival Pizza." The atmosphere was pleasant, and the waitresses were nice, right up until they had to serve us. We thought we were going to have real Italian pizza, and good pizza. As it turned out, it wasn't real Festival Pizza. We got a flat pizza like a tortilla, not resembling Italian pizza at all (and we've eaten at many restaurants in various parts of Italy, and this pizza was completely out of place in that country). The pizza had a pitifully small amount of ingredients. One black olive per slice, one small pepperoni per slice. The waitresses kept asking if we wanted more pizza. When we said yes, we got the impression they were unhappy that we wanted more. It's no wonder we wanted more, since the pizza was thin, with practically no toppings; we were simply hungry all the time. It was practically just crust, and thin as a tortilla. The only thing about a 4x cheese pizza was that it had more ingredients; we were stuffed with cheese. 😅. We ate pizza at another restaurant in the same town, and by comparison, the diavola here was terribly bland, pathetic, while the other one was packed with ingredients and had fluffy dough. At the end, we were told we were "eating too much." Which was completely unprofessional... How can you say that to customers? It discourages them from coming back. We felt like inferior customers, second-class in every way. When other customers came in, the waitresses immediately offered olives, and we had to ask for them. In other restaurants, they always offer us olives from olives. We felt like you were doing this to save money on us. If we had known it would be like this in terms of food and service, we wouldn't have come to the Pizza Festival...

08/09/2025: I wanted to respond to the POS review... first of all, we don't need anyone to give us a chance, since during the summer we serve more than 2,000 people with 5/6 negative reviews!!!!! Too bad satisfied customers never write... perhaps... it's easy and cowardly to hide behind a PC or a cell phone and denigrate the people who are working!! It was a truly gratuitous review since you tasted the ferruginous water for free and lingered at our outdoor tables all morning, drinking what??... for 7 of us, a coffee ☕...... thank goodness very few people from Romagna are like that!!!... Shame!!! N.B: To get the POS we tried many times with technicians, 📡 antennas, etc., but the valley is narrow and closed and only allows minimal reception, not enough for the POS... anyway, in the mountains it is good or advisable to bring a little cash!!!!
07/09/2025: We decided to give this place a try despite the numerous negative reviews we'd read in the previous few days. When we got outside, we were surprised: "Due to poor cell phone coverage, we can't accept payments by POS terminal." This excuse barely held up ten years ago, let alone now that it's 2025 and there are refuges at 2,500 meters that readily accept any type of payment. The result: we (fortunately) opted for the alternative just three kilometers away, where we had a wonderful time.

10/07/2025: Splendida cornice della val di pejo...il kinderland poi offre un piacevolissimo intrattenimento per i più piccoli...cibo buonissimo e prezzi nella.media....simpaticissimo il cameriere argentino....offre sia servizio self servi e che servito al tavolo...consigliato
07/07/2025: Ottima posizione di ritorno da trekking in zona. Si raggiunge prendendo una funivia, per i piu atletici anche in bici, ma credo sia veramente impegnativo raggiungere il rifugio. Buona la scelta delle portate, self service, tavoli anche all'aperto con spettacolari panorami. Prezzi nella media del posto, certo non bassi.

05/03/2025: Dopo una escursione, con mia moglie, al lago di Pian Palù è stato d'obbligo un pranzo rigenerante tra la frescura di questa valle. Accompagnata dalle bontà delle proposte della cucina di questa malga che dispone di tavoli fuori con vista da sogno.
Servizio e cordialità impeccabile come da luoghi di montagna.
Carne di cervo top.
Interessante chiacchierata con la proprietà che si è unita con noi al tavolo a fine servizio.
30/12/2024: Posto immerso nella natura, tra panorami fiabeschi di boschi innevati. Malga accogliente per la gentilezza della famiglia che lo gestisce e per il calore del posto, tutto rustico e arredato con cura per donare il sapore caldo della montagna d' inverno. La stufa accesa, tutto di legno, decorato natalizio, personale sorridente e gentile. Il menù è sul foglio al tavolo, tutti piatti tipici trentini, tortei di patate, salumi e formaggi di malaga, canederli, gnocchi di spinaci, tagliatelle ai funghi locali, carni e dolci. Tutto molto buono, saporito e gustoso, prezzi nella norma. Segnalo il gesto di grande cortesia dei ragazzi che sia per salire che per scendere dalla strada ghiacciata sono venuti giù cn la loro auto per portare mia mamma col bastone. Ottimo servizio, ottimo cibo tutto locale e tipico, ottima atmosfera. Complimenti a tutta la Malga Frattasecca!

19/01/2025: Io mio marito e mia suocera, abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni a Gennanio, davvero piacevolissimi le camere arredate con gusto, materassi davvero confortevoli, colazione e cena strepitosi, tutto fatto da loro. Claudio in cucina ed Elena sua moglie in sala sono di una gentilezza ed ospitalità che non è scontata. Se poi si è amanti degli animali il giro in stalla è assicurato.
Abbiamo anche acquistato i loro prodotti, speak, formaggi d pancetta. Buonissimi!
Consigliatissimo, torneremo sicuramente.
