06/07/2026: Exceptional meat, I especially recommend the tartare and the fillet with casolet (cheese). I highly recommend booking because, given the exceptional quality of the food, it's always quite busy. If I had to find a flaw, the ambience (well-kept and quaint), given its very open layout, can be a bit noisy... but the meat is amazing, the service is excellent, and the presentation is truly meticulous. I can't wait to return! I recommend the seats on the veranda overlooking the mountains; they're more romantic and a bit more secluded. The desserts are also excellent, the amaretto semifreddo superb...truly delicious. The prices are in line with the quality.

11/07/2026: After a wonderful walk around the lake and a short off-piste hike to the waterfalls, we stopped for lunch at this lake-view restaurant. Sipping a delicious wais and a glass of white wine, we enjoyed an appetizer of local cheeses and various cured meats, along with a potato crostini (serving for two). The game was delicious, and the cheeses excellent. Perhaps it would have been even better if the cheeses had been accompanied by a compote. After a splendid appetizer, we headed for the first course, a plate of spinach spaetzle with gorgonzola and walnut sauce. A marvel, to say the least, perfectly cooked and the sauce created a delicious creamy sauce. A fresh tagliatelle with rosemary and porcini mushrooms was another delight. The rosemary and fresh mushrooms paired beautifully. The splendid lunch concluded with a delicious nougat parfait with hot chocolate. Excellent value, and the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

11/07/2026: After many years, we returned to Alla Vecchia Macina and found excellent cuisine and a wonderful welcome. When we spend our holidays in Val di Sole, Alla Vecchia Macina is a must-visit; it fills your heart and stomach. 😉 Thank you so much to all the staff! Well done!

16/06/2026: Very family-friendly atmosphere… Authentic Neapolitan pizza made by Antonio and Giovanni brought to the Val del Sole… Ivan, the restaurant manager, is friendly and helpful… Stop by and enjoy it!!!

You have no idea how delicious Sicilian brioches are!!!! 🤤 But also the classic ones, and you can fill them with a variety of creams. It's a temptation I always happily give in to! 😅 Plus, the girls are always so kind 👍🏻
