The best carne salada in the area, 200 meters from the Varone waterfalls. We returned twice to try it again. The individual portions are more than generous. The sauerkraut is also good. Efficient service and convenient on-site parking.

I had dinner with my family (2 adults, 2 children). We had a very good mixed antipasto. However, the homemade tagliatelle with mushrooms was full of garlic and tasteless. The Trentino dish contained salty sausages, mediocre dumplings, and the fondue was also salty, overall very greasy. The cutlet with fries, on the other hand, was fatty.

A restaurant like you don't find often anymore. Friendly staff, honest, local, and very good cuisine. The place is always packed, mostly with locals. That says it all.

We started with dry rolls and bread, nothing else, not even plates. What are you supposed to do with that? We left it. Then it appeared on the bill as a €6 cover charge. That was a joke. The portions were also meager; we had pasta. It's not worth eating there. It's a shame, you can eat better and cheaper in Riva.

11/08/2026: It was a great experience, we went there following the suggestions of a near by bar. The restaurant showed high quality dishes and professional service. We skipped antipasti and ordered directly two secondi, however they offered us two entrè made with cucumber and melon which was very refreshing. The staff helped us choosing the perfect wine with our order which was the pinot nero. We had the goat in three different cooking methods and the coppo di maiale (like a pork thik steak). All the meat was cooked nicely and accompanied with original yet perfect sauces and polenta. Finally we had dessert which also had the perfect amount of sweetness 😍. We hope to have the chance to come back in the future to try other dishes 🤗.
08/08/2026: A delicious dinner, with refined, quality dishes. Excellent value. The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was elegant and intimate. Recommended! They were also kind to my dog ​​:)

12/06/2026: The rooms are spacious enough, all with bathrooms. Excellent views of the valley. Sleeping in a historic building like this is definitely an experience worth trying.
