Excellent food, quality and home-cooked, original and carefully prepared dishes. The owner is exquisite. Nice atmosphere.

We had dinner one evening and were very satisfied, the food was excellent. My wife is celiac and must eat gluten-free. They were able to accommodate her with professionalism, excellent service, friendly staff, and average prices for Riva.

The gnocchi were delicious, and the wine was delicious too. The service was very friendly. I recommend it.

This evening, after a long time, we returned to the Pane e Salame tavern... not only good food and excellent wine, but also excellent service, making for a pleasant and relaxing evening!

This is the kind of place you want to go for a perfect night out. ❤️ The Osteria is historical and located within the original city walls of Riva del Garda. It's been recently restored to its original glory and is just beautiful with unique touches all around. My wife and I were greeted by the host with a warm smile and a friendly atmosphere, the food is local and wonderful, and the service is spot on for what you want for a romantic night out. Try to local wines, cheeses and meats, the slow roasted pork is AMAZING! This is what you hope for when you're looking for an amazing restaurant in Italy! WOW!!! This place deserves 100/10!!! We have been several times the last year since this place has been refurbished and WOW!! This place is stunning, If feels so cozy and elegant. The staff is attentive and soooo very sweet, they make you feel like family. The food was amazing and beyond what I was expecting. My favourites were toasted bread with patanegra lard, walnuts and honey, and the slow cooked pig tenderloin wrapped in speck. The wine selection was great and the staff were amazing at finding the perfect wine for us!

Wow, wow, wow! I give it 5 stars in every area! The food was absolutely spectacular, the dishes are bursting with flavor, all with amazing wines that paired so well with the dishes we ordered! The waiters are all super attentive and very very kind, and social (if that’s what you want)! My family and I felt extremely happy after our meal, and did not feel nudged or rushed despite the long queue there was. I found the only bottle of wine I ever actually LOVED and all because of the lovely man named Vale who recommended this after trying to understand what my taste was, now I am looking for it everywhere. Also, the building is super well kept, clean, tidy, and beautiful all around, the restaurant has such a cosy feeling which are all reasons why we continue to come and will continue to. I recommend this to anyone coming to Riva, it’s definitely worth the visit!
