09/12/2025: The place is very beautiful and welcoming, and the food isn't bad; not excellent or unforgettable, mind you, but better than other refuges. The pros end there. The wait is very long. Unfortunately, as in all refuges, but especially here, the prices are exorbitant: €28 for a steak that must have been barely 200g with a few potatoes? €8 for a slice of strudel? €10 for the "dessert of the day"? You're in Paganella, not St. Moritz. But as long as there's a line outside, they're right to drive up the prices (I'd insert a famous Wanna Marchi quote here, but that would be vulgar); personally, I don't think they'll see me again.

14/10/2025: A perfect stop at the Rifugio Des Alpes! Excellent service and truly delicious, thoughtful, and plentiful food—ideal after a hike or simply to enjoy a day at altitude. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a spectacular view of the Dolomites that invites you to linger and enjoy the scenery. The staff is friendly and always smiling, and the environment is clean and meticulously maintained. An ideal place to unwind and enjoy moments of pure relaxation on a beautiful summer day. Highly recommended for those seeking good food, friendliness, and tranquility in the high mountains!

29/10/2025: The fried food was plentiful, light, but a little overcooked for my taste. Let's get to the price: spending €37.50 for a fried dish (€25), a meager glass of Trento DOC (€6), a sparkling mineral water (€3.50), and a €3 cover charge (!) is excessive, I think. The quality/price ratio is not good.

25/10/2025: Pleasant atmosphere, but poor value for money. Dishes are ostentatiously presented but lackluster, with tough gratinated fennel and no side dishes.

12/11/2025: The beers are unique and original in both quality and style, the result of passion and dedication in both production and presentation. We've purchased both directly from the brewery and through the website, and the responsiveness and service are excellent, so much so that we've gifted BIONOC vouchers to friends who can now buy whatever they want, whenever they want. We recommend a tasting of BIONOC beers and, possibly, a visit to the brewery: it'll be a wonderful experience.

09/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant on 08/10/2025. It was magnificent! The food was fabulous - it was hard to decide what to have as everything sounded delicious. What we chose was absolutely delicious. The service staff were amazing. They interacted with us, checking on how the meal was and they were genuinely interested in us. They wore traditional Tirolian clothing which added to the experience. They spoke three languages as well - Italian, German and English, which excited me to speak to them in my basic German and Italian. They were so lovely. And I must not forget the physical setting - wow!! What a beautiful Tirolian atmosphere - gorgeous timber work everywhere. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place was. Grazie mille, vielen dank. If ever I come here again I surely will eat here many times. Mark from Australia

05/10/2025: Very friendly restaurant with a truly friendly and dedicated staff. Everything is geared toward the typical restaurant experience (you either like it or not), but the two young people present take excellent care of the customers without being overbearing, even though the service was approaching its end. (Late arrival) We had a local menu; we ordered ploenta and funghi + polenta salsicia. The portions were sufficient for us, but for a big eater, it might be a bit light (compared to the price of +/- €17), which is the price to pay for the typical dishes. In any case, a beautiful location, friendly staff, and well-prepared dishes.

16/12/2025: We only used the restaurant service. The building looks very nice from the outside; I think it was renovated fairly recently. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, however, the dining area isn't very well-kept; we noticed stains on the tablecloth and some dust. The decor/furnishings are a bit disorganized. But the real problem is the quality of the food: acceptable but not exceptional. My tortelli were very dry, and the lasagna was also a bit dry and flavorless. I understand they're focusing much more on the hotel side of things, but with a little more effort, it could become excellent in every way. The prices are quite reasonable for the area.

05/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. First course, second course, and dessert with two covers and two hot drinks cost around €35. Super welcoming staff, including a very friendly waiter who even cracked a few jokes. Really welcoming.

28/10/2025: Always a wonderful "final stop" after the hike from Nago-Torbole to Pregasina. Friendly service, good drinks, wonderful view. :-) Afterwards, you set off refreshed and invigorated on the return journey! ☆☆☆

15/11/2025: I stopped in Luserna (November 14, 2025) after a hike in the mountains. I was looking for a place that was open, which, given that it was November and therefore low season, wasn't a given. I easily found this bar/restaurant near the village's main square, and I must admit I enjoyed both the food—excellent polenta with goulash—and the company of the locals. Over coffee, it was a pleasure to chat about the local history of Luserna and the German-speaking islands. I'll have to return to try the other dishes on the menu, which the very kind owner explained to me is usually more extensive than what was available yesterday with the start of the new season.

02/10/2025: The last dinner of the holiday couldn't have ended in anything other than a beautiful way... The brewery produces about thirty beers, and to avoid being rude, I ordered a tasting of ten. Each beer has its own unique flavor; they're served in order to enhance the taste of each beer. I chose a small appetizer platter for one person, to avoid overeating, since I wanted to try the Tomahawk. I wanted the small 900g piece, but since it was the last night the place was open, the waiter informed me that only the last piece, about 1,250g, was left. I thank fate that I didn't choose the 900g, because it was so good I could have eaten more! To conclude the dinner, I asked for the perfect combo: barrel-aged grappa and strudel. The place is wonderful, as is the staff. I will definitely be back to try other beers and other dishes!

26/09/2025: There is no picanha on the menu anymore! For a small tasting of 4 beers (100mL-ish) and a side of spatzel, I paid 37 euro. I wish they told you there's a cover charge and they also charge you for the water they offer you. They said the cover charge is for "napkins and the bread" but they didn't give us any bread or chips or anything. The whole menu seems overpriced, the steak was was 80 euro for the minimim size.

30/08/2025: Spurred by the many positive reviews, we visited this place during our vacation in San Martino. I'm sorry, but I didn't quite get what I'd read. Sure, the location is beautiful, but the place itself...the exterior is a good place, even though it's located in the church square. But inside, I'd say it could use a good refresh. The wines by the glass aren't very numerous (for a wine bar), and they're not very high quality (I've found better), and the prices, in my opinion, were too high. We ordered a mixed platter, which was actually not bad, but lacked variety and the price was the same as other places offering half the price. The owner is definitely knowledgeable and helpful, the only positive. There are definitely better options.

17/11/2025: A positive experience in every way. From the modern, well-maintained structure, to the helpfulness of the very kind staff, to the excellent typical Trentino dinner, to the skill of the masseuse, Serena, who recharged our batteries, to the superb location immersed in nature and above all far from the stressful mass tourism! What more can I say? It's a shame we only spent one night there! We visited the nearby Buonconsiglio Castle, which is definitely worth it.

25/10/2025: The trattoria is located in a small village, in the center, near the church. The innkeeper and his sister are both very nice and kind, with a well-chosen sense of humor. The atmosphere is typical of an old trattoria, perhaps in need of a bit of a makeover, but still charming in its own way. The food is plentiful and tasty. I highly recommend it.
