07/04/2026: If you're passing through Val di Sole, stop by Vecchia Macina: it's one of those places that stays with you. As soon as you enter, the atmosphere embraces you: the scent of wood and rustic elegance immediately makes you know you're in the right place to unwind. The food is divine (the venison tartare is out of this world, and the first courses taste like real mountains), but what really makes the difference is the restaurant's soul. A special thanks goes to the two young ladies who looked after us: it's rare to find staff so young yet so knowledgeable. They were incredibly helpful, always smiling, and able to offer advice on every dish. They make you feel like a welcome guest, not just a customer. In short, well done everyone: excellent cuisine and a heartwarming welcome. We'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: Nice place, meat specialties, prices a little high, especially the first courses, but you know, it's affected by the proximity to Lake Garda.

13/06/2026: Super fantastic place and super nice and friendly staff! We ate wonderfully, the only thing I would say is that I would prefer the cooked sauerkraut to be spicier, like with fennel seeds, a bit German-style. Overall, everything was top notch!

01/05/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance because it was close to the farm where we were staying. The staff were very friendly and helpful; they even gave us a table off to the side to make things easier for us, since we had a dog. The pizzas were wonderful: I had one with arugula and my partner had one with a garlic base. The coffee and dessert were also delicious! Highly recommended.

16/05/2026: This restaurant is recommended by locals. The pork is very good, but the tagliata is less so, and we mentioned this. Poor wine selection. The carne salada is good. Pleasant experience, but not among the best in the Val di Non.

03/05/2026: Very good hamburgers, I recommend them. I would add a special sauce to each type. But they come with four toppings for everyone to choose from, which is also very good. I had the chocolate cheesecake on another occasion and loved it. It's a shame they didn't have it today. When I had it, it was right at dessert. The service was a bit slow, both when picking up the menu and when getting the food. Good atmosphere, music, quieter on a Saturday than on a Friday.

18/04/2026: An intimate restaurant with just a few seats. The service is very friendly, giving you a sense of home. I found a good selection of wines and traditional dishes, but if I really had to recommend something: ABSOLUTELY THE MALLOREDDUS. I left satisfied; I was really happy to find this place.

As a Sardinian, I can say the food was delicious (all homemade), traditional Sardinian but with a touch of innovation. Erica and Gianfranco were very kind, and the service was excellent!
