29/01/2026: Where to start? We were returning from San Martino di C. It was 2:00 PM and we were looking for a restaurant that was still open for a quick bite to eat before heading home as quickly as possible. My partner called... they answered and said yes. We arrived and immediately ordered pasta with meat sauce for the kids, a 4-year-old girl and a 15-month-old boy whose age I later came back to. Is it coming? Pasta with a bright red tomato sauce. Okay, we told him it had been ordered with meat sauce. The waitress took it away and immediately returned with a bit of meat sauce added on top without even stirring it in the pan. Ugly to see. A plate shared between two kids who didn't eat much, probably because it wasn't tasty. I basically tasted sauce from an open jar and added it to the pasta. Maybe kids don't have the right to eat a plate of properly made pasta? The waitress comes back, I tell her the pasta isn't the best and... she says I can hear the kitchen and that's it. On the other hand, she was a little annoyed. My partner ordered gnocchi with the same ragù, but the problem was they were swimming in broth... too much in our opinion. They looked like gnocchi in broth. They weren't eaten, and I asked the waitress why there was so much broth... response? A show of hands. Anyway, if they make them like that, fine... They offered to change the first course, but my partner didn't order anything else because it was getting late, due to the rather slow service. Another serious, or very serious, issue... a portion of French fries was ordered. They arrived with mayonnaise and ketchup on the same plate, and obviously the potatoes were already greasy. Isn't it good manners to ask? And what about allergens? We asked for the bill, and they added the 15-month-old's cover charge to the bill, as well as the plate of gnocchi. It's not the cover charge for the baby, but the gesture. At the cashier, they didn't even bother asking if everything went well, but instead emphasized that the gnocchi had been ordered and therefore had to be paid for. In short, we tried to make them understand that this wasn't the right professional attitude, but... we paid and... never again. Attention, pregnant women, because the unborn baby also pays the cover charge. For the restaurant owner... No reply is necessary because you've made a good impression. I want to point out that no one was offended and that we rarely leave negative reviews, so please check.

21/12/2025: This recently renovated restaurant, located on the shore of Lake Levico, offers a rustic yet modern ambiance. On a night when all the local restaurants were packed, we managed to get a table at Ristorante La Taverna. Service wasn't slow at all, despite the packed restaurant that evening. The pizzas were delicious and fluffy, with a shallow crust. Quality ingredients and prices very similar to the competition. Approved!

07/02/2026: We've eaten here several times and were really impressed by the Indian and Italian cuisine. I had tagliatelle with bacon and saffron, chicken tikki masala, mutton korma, gnocchi with mushrooms and gorgonzola. Everything tasted really good, the service was very friendly and the dishes were served quickly.

31/01/2026: I was speechless! My work often takes me out to eat. I visit many restaurants and taverns, but this little eatery is the absolute best for me. Go on an empty stomach and try all their specialties! They're divine. I've never eaten such good freshwater fish. The dish is a thrill. Even the simple side dish is a thrill. A thrill that reminds you of family. True old-fashioned cooking. I also ordered wine, but I preferred not to drink it so the flavor of the fish lingered longer. The next morning, we went to pick up two vacuum-packed trout to take away. I'd say that after 5 hours with ice, they held up well (at a truly fair price). Thanks for a lovely evening! 08/12/2025: We had lunch at Cantuccio on Sunday and had a wonderful time. The owner welcomed us with great kindness and offered an excellent wine for an aperitif. Everything was delicious: the locally produced cured meats, the egg with white truffle, the passatelli with porcini mushrooms, the mezzelune pasta stuffed with meat and truffle (the latter truly exceptional!), and the red wine chosen by the owner to accompany it. We appreciated every detail, even the background music. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: Dinner with 14 people! The host is fantastic, the hospitality and good food are truly top notch! Dinner took a bit long, but everyone was super friendly! Highly recommended and highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

09/03/2026: Great rooms with kitchen, beautiful breakfasts.

09/01/2026: Nice rooms, they seem recently renovated, but they're quite small. There were two of us and we booked a room for four for more space, but it was still a tight squeeze. The pool and spa are very nice, with special mention for the lifeguard, who, poor thing, was just doing his job (unlike the usual ones who just sit there doing nothing), and his extremely rude parents made it difficult for him. The breakfast provided by the restaurant at the modest price of €10 per person per day was really meager... we opted to have breakfast in our room. Overall, the property and location are beautiful.

25/10/2025: A beautiful place in the mountains, the food is excellent, perhaps the sauerkraut is too sweet for my taste, but they have excellent wines and it's not expensive! I'll definitely be back.

10/01/2026: Carne salada carpaccio with potato rosti...super good, a trattoria from another era...with a unique flavor...there are few places like this left! We loved it!

12/11/2025: Lake Garda like you've never seen it before. A visit to Peter Brunel's restaurant is a truly unique experience. Since all the tables were already booked for dinner, even in November, we opted for the set lunch menu. We were thrilled. It wasn't just the food that impressed us, but also the calm and collected atmosphere in the kitchen and the service. Thank you for letting us experience this.

10/09/2025: Followed the access road from Val Noana. A steady climb, with sometimes challenging but never impossible sections. The route near the waterfall (a spring of very fresh water) is fantastic, where the road follows a section carved into the rock. Read the explanatory signs! Arrival at the refuge in an idyllic setting amidst flat meadows and dense surrounding woods. A warm welcome awaits. Excellent menu (a trio of delicious dumplings and spätzle) enjoyed at outdoor tables. Prices more than match the setting. Before setting off, weather permitting, sit outside, overlooking the valley's sunny meadows, sip a glass of herbal grappa and... meditate!
