12/02/2026: Recommended by locals, I found simple, home-cooked cuisine where pici pasta, seasoned in various ways, is the star of the menu. I also tried a platter of mixed cheeses and sautéed radicchio. If you're looking for authentic cuisine, this is an excellent place.

15/07/2025: Ho scelto questo ristorante toscano per festeggiare il mio 40^ compleanno insieme a mio marito. D'estate si mangia in giardino, magari davanti all'aiuola popolata da simpatiche tartarughe. Il menu "Greatest Hits" è un incredibile viaggio nella cucina toscana con idee contemporanee ma con tutto il sapore della tradizione. Tutto il menu è superlativo con picchi di eccellenza. Geniale la quaglia arrostita con il creme caramel ai funghi. Indimenticabile il risotto fagiano e mandorle. Non da meno i dolci, sia la rivisitazione della zuppa inglese, sia "I love Siena", un semifreddo ai ricciarelli. Servizio cortese e caloroso. Prezzo adeguato a quanto offerto.

10/07/2025: Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí. Todo estuvo genial, desde los entrantes hasta los platos principales y los postres. Todos los pequeños detalles que nos dieron, desde el pan hasta los pimientos rojos espumosos y los pequeños dulces del final, también fueron maravillosos. Nos sentamos afuera en el jardín y fue encantador. El servicio fue bueno, estuvieron allí cuando los necesitábamos pero no estaban invadiendo el lugar. Merece totalmente la estrella Michelin. Muy recomendable.

11/11/2025: Wonderful hospitality upon arrival and it's in a charming, medieval village. Hotel rooms are spacious and beautiful. We had an amazing view. You will want to have a car because the nearby towns with restaurants will take at least a half hour to drive to. Also be aware that the streets leading up to the hotel are very narrow.

27/10/2025: Beautiful quiet mideval village. Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was ok. It is continental, but great to have so not looking for breakfast first thing in the morning. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms are beautiful. Views are stunning and the terrance is lovely at anytime but evening with the lights is magical. Thank you for a lovely restful stay.

21/10/2025: Last weekend, I found myself with my partner spending a wonderful weekend in the Siena hills. During our visit to the city, we decided to have lunch, just in time for lunch, and were welcomed by the Antica Trattoria Stalloreggi... The quality of the cured meats on the platter was worthy of the best hospital-style Camst, even in appearance. The pici were perfectly made; even the guanciale was flavorless and overpowered by the glue that seemed to coat the pasta (it's cooked in boiling water). Unfortunately, the waitress was left alone to serve when the place was almost full, so she was probably tired but polite, fortunately more so than the house white wine. Let's conclude with the setting, which is in a beautiful village in the center of Siena, simple and rustic, typical of a hillside trattoria. The prices are absolutely unreasonable for the quality: €60 for an appetizer, a first course, two vegetable side dishes, half a liter of colored water (called wine)... if you're going for coffee, highly recommended. Thanks anyway

15/03/2026: Best pizza place in Chianti. Beautiful wine cellar. Cheap and good pizza. We had lost our car key and the owner came out at midnight to bring it to us.

24/01/2026: Among my favorite pizzas in Gaiole, it's now a weekly ritual to get a calzone and a pizza from Corrado, who always greets you with a smile and a joke, and the pizzas are always hot and ready to go. In the summer, you can also enjoy light, easily digestible, and perfectly cooked pizzas outside.

05/07/2025: Anno dopo anno sempre una conferma a Bagno Vignoni. Prodotti eccellenti, sapori tradizionali di grandissimo livello e tutto condito da semplicità e un bel giardino. Insomma rapporto qualità prezzo davvero eccezionale. Purtroppo quest'anno non avevano la panzanella, ma non mancherà occasione in futuro per rimangiarla.

02/03/2026: Anyone who's ever wanted to know what it feels like to be a nuisance will find it in this pastry shop. This pastry shop is conducting a fascinating social experiment: How many customers can you drive away with maximum rudeness? The young man behind the counter has perfected the art of the exasperated eye roll and communicates primarily in a tone that sounds like, "Why do you exist?" Language barrier? Clearly a personal attack. The woman—presumably the owner—follows the minimalist principle of hospitality: no greeting, no eye contact, no thank you. Efficiency through ignoring. For 12 euros, you get average pastries and an atmosphere like a waiting room just before a tax audit. If you want to spend money to be treated rudely and disrespectfully, feel free to try it. I will certainly never set foot in this place again. I'd rather burn my money than buy anything here again. Negative points would be too kind.

28/02/2026: Try those pastries with chocolate, absolutely delicious. We also liked the cappuccino and americano. Wish the service could be more friendly as the other places we experienced in this lovely town. Faces with smile should be easy.

13/04/2025: They say they are open all day, till late evening. We modified our route to Siena to eat there, only to discover that the kitchen was closed (at 15.00). It was a big disappointment.

13/04/2025: Both the food and the service were perfect. We arrived without a reservation and they treated us wonderfully.
