This brewery in Val d'Orcia is one of those surprises that make you happy. You immediately sense that it's not a tourist trap, but that behind it are people who study and use top-quality ingredients. The beers are clean, flavorful, each with its own character. The place is charming; you sit down, chat with the person who pours your beer for you and explains everything to you politely. 05/06/2025: Recientemente pasamos 3 días en Fattorio Poggio Alloro y fue nuestro favorito 3 días de nuestro viaje de 2 semanas! La gente es maravillosa allí, la comida era excepcional y las vistas eran espectaculares. Cerca de San Gimgnano, así que mucho que hacer. Nos encantó la sensación relajada del lugar y el hermoso campo. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

Hemos paseado junto a los viñedos y olivos, hemos saltado a los establos y hemos aprendido dónde y cómo se crea el vino. Todo el grupo de nosotros tuvimos un maravilloso tiempo de cata de vinos, disfrutando de maridaje de vino con productos locales. La cena se basó en la granja local y la comida de temporada y hemos aplaudido. Una señora que estaba celebrando su cumpleaños el mismo día tuvo la oportunidad de beber vino de la copa muy especial. Quedamos fascinados con el paisaje, la comida de gran calidad y el vino de Dios y sobre todo apreciamos el amor y el cuidado de la familia y todo el equipo. 09/09/2025: Fantastic evening! Simple but welcoming location, and very kind and helpful staff. We had pappa al pomodoro, pici cacio e pepe, and tagliata (sliced ​​beef steak) for dinner—all delicious! Highly recommended!

08/09/2025: If I could, I’d give this place 4.5 stars. We didn’t research it beforehand — we were in a rush to eat and saw they had space, so we decided to give it a try. Honestly, we were very pleasantly surprised! We started with a caprese salad, which was fresh and good. The tagliatelle al tartufo was absolutely delicious (buttery with real pieces of truffle), the tagliatelle ai funghi was also excellent, and the pici cacio e pepe was very tasty as well. All the pastas were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We noticed that other tables received a basket of bread, but we didn’t — unfortunately we realized too late to ask for it. For dessert, the tiramisu was very good and the crème brûlée didn’t really taste like a classic crème brûlée, but it was still delicious. Overall, a wonderful surprise and a place I’d happily recommend.

02/08/2025: A nice place to have a drink on a terrace in the village of Montepulciano. Several wines by the glass are available, all kinds of cocktails, various coffees, and soft drinks. There's a small restaurant on site, but I don't recommend it... I had the beef tartare, and it was the worst I've ever eaten... It was just roughly chopped meat on lettuce with a few tomatoes. As a big fan of tartare, I don't understand how it's possible to serve meat without any seasoning... To the restaurateurs, I really don't blame you, but please, do something, add a little seasoning... My girlfriend had the carpaccio and enjoyed it. However, there was no seasoning either... One more thing about the service. We had to call the waiter every time to come take our orders because otherwise we'd be waiting longer... It's a shame because the concept is good, but I think there's still room for improvement. Don't give up 💪🏼

11/09/2025: Fantastic experience! A sublime location, with a magnificent view of the Porta Nova ramparts. Fresh produce, excellent charcuterie, and excellent food. Large selection of Tuscan wines with excellent recommendations. Impeccable service, very friendly and welcoming, and they even speak French. You can go there with your eyes closed.
