21/10/2025: We were fortunate enough to do a small cooking class with the owner/chef of this wonderful Italian bistro!
Our expectations were surpassed by the pleasant and wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant, and the exquisite food that we were able to learn to prepare!
We also had a meal on another evening at this restaurant and it was one of the best meals that we had in Tuscany during our three weeks of travel!-If you get the chance, treat yourself to a delicious meal here!!!

20/09/2025: I don't understand people who wrote that they ate the best food in Italy here😂, i've been on a long trip around Italy and I can surely say this was the worst food we ate during our trip.
23/08/2025: The food was some of the best food we have had in Italy! Highly recommend all the food on the menu, the ingredients were high quality, the service was top notch and the wine was amazing. We ordered 3 entrees, bruschetta, polpette and salumi plate. Then we ordered 2 x chicken liver pasta and 2 x osso bucco, it was so good we ended up ordering another one! We all left feeling so happy and amazed at the beautiful meal and service we experienced at this venue.

13/09/2025: Despite some negative reviews, our dinner tonight was very good. They do have two expensive set menus, but the à la carte menu isn't any more expensive than anywhere else. The only downside, I think, is the parking problem.
I'd definitely return to this place.

10/11/2025: A place to be and indulge in simple, honest Tuscany cuisine - what a pleasure to had the chance to get a sweat spot on a Saturday for lunch.
We come back!
05/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant in the historic center of Sarteano, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was homey, and the owner offered us delicious Cinta Senese ham as an appetizer. We ordered: a platter of cured meats and cheeses, pici all'aglione, ravioli with butter and sage, baked potatoes, biscotti and vin santo, red wine and coffee. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. We'll definitely be back!

20/10/2025: An experience not to be repeated...we waited an hour and a half for a plate of penne with tomato sauce and a chicken breast...and the place was practically empty. As soon as we'd eaten our dish, we, like the other three diners, went to pay without even getting our coffee!
15/10/2025: Delicious pizza and friendly service! Our dog was even allowed to come along :)

- A pasta dish with inedible bits of fat (€9) for the gentleman and spaghetti swimming in oil (€8) for the lady.
- €8.50 for a plate of uncooked chickpeas.
- €2.50 per place setting (a fork, no knife)
- €2 for tap water
Add to that, a very cold welcome.
This restaurant is not worth a detour.
