15/11/2025: Superbly warm service, excellent cuisine. A very pleasant atmosphere where you truly feel welcome! Tuscan cuisine, but not the typical standard menu. I was absolutely delighted. The service was top-notch and the suggested wine was truly incredible. We'll definitely be back!

04/07/2026: A nice bar with a pleasant atmosphere for sitting, ideal for a quick and inexpensive lunch. We had spelt salad, ravioli with excellent ragù, tender roast beef with spinach, and meatballs. The service was pleasant, and the prices were reasonable.

23/02/2026: An almost unexpected and absolutely positive surprise. We received a gift voucher for the Sm...box service for two, which could be used on a variety of options. After extensive research on the website, all of which were unappealing—either because of the type of offer, potential additional costs, or because the participating establishment no longer existed—we found Soloperpassione, albeit with some hesitation because it was the only establishment offering a FULL lunch. But it was the truth, and more. A very nice place, well-kept and furnished, with outdoor space (a covered veranda in the garden). The welcome and service were extremely kind and helpful. I must compliment the dishes: the wine and local cured meats were delicious (the finocchiona melts in your mouth). The menu also included pici with meat sauce, mixed grill with potatoes, dessert, water, and wine. We didn't spend a cent. The portions were generous; we didn't eat the bread. Highly recommended. I think it's wise to book, as there aren't many seats.

18/08/2026: Don't go there to eat. The waiter was rude and uninterested. We went on the day of the Palio in August. At 11:40, we were the first to lunch, and as soon as we sat down, they informed us that the ravioli were out of stock and there was only one risotto left (did they already run out of rice before serving?) and there was no crostini either. We ordered a platter for €26 (meager). The last risotto was overcooked, like the pre-cooked bagged one, and the pappardelle with wild boar were dry, probably reheated. Avoid going to the bathroom, it's filthy.

07/07/2026: I was absolutely amazed by the value this hotel offers. From the beautiful terrace to its peaceful setting in a charming medieval town, everything exceeded my expectations. When I entered my room, I was surprised by how spacious it was and how much character it had. It felt like a place with a story to tell. The furnishings evoke the atmosphere of medieval Italy, creating a truly unique experience. The wooden furniture, brick-built bathroom, black wrought-iron towel racks, and traditional windows overlooking the street all came together to give the room an authentic, timeless charm. Staying here felt like stepping back in time in the best possible way. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Before the trip, I was a little concerned after reading reviews about how difficult it might be to bring luggage to the hotel, but it turned out not to be an issue at all. You can drive right up to the entrance to load and unload your bags, and there’s also an elevator in the building. The staff also provided a generous breakfast each morning and were very accommodating with our travel plans. I would highly recommend this place

27/05/2026: We stayed there for three nights at the end of our trip to Italy. The room was superb and spacious with a breathtaking view of Tuscany. The staff were kind and attentive. You need a very small car to get to the hotel entrance with luggage because the streets are narrow; parking is available at the bottom of the village but close to the hotel. Breakfast is served, but there is no restaurant on site for meals during the rest of the day; this is why we are giving it four stars rather than five.

12/08/2026: Even with tables available, during a storm they refused to let us sit for an aperitif with two 80-year-olds and a 5-year-old girl. Furthermore, while we were waiting under the awning for the rain to stop, they pulled the awning back, leaving us in the rain.

25/10/2025: A lovely welcome, excellent wine recommendations, and a perfect meal! The pasta al ragu, the raviolini... everything was delicious 😋 and the desserts were the best we've eaten since arriving in Italy! We recommend it 100%.

13/07/2026: A negative experience stemming from trying to convince the customer of the deliciousness of a poorly made dish... a little humility and transparency, please... I ordered a "giardiniera" pinsa. This is the description on the menu: Giardiniera (Seasonal vegetables, mozzarella cheese, anchovies, sliced ​​tomato, and provola cheese). The name evokes a variety of vegetables, so I asked the waitress if they were fresh or preserved in oil. I was told, "raw fresh vegetables cooked with the pizza." They served me a pinsa with pre-cooked cherry tomatoes and spinach (the kind from the jar), which were also awful. I sent the pizza back, and the owner introduced himself, claiming, "I've always made it this way, and I use spinach because that's what we have now..." So: "Seasonal vegetables" in July are thought to be zucchini, eggplant, peppers, etc. Spinach (fresh, not canned) is seasonal from November to March. Why insist on the deliciousness of the dish? A simple "excuse me" would have been enough, but the insistence on making fun of me really pissed me off. It's not true that the customer is always right, but when they criticize a dish, trying to make them look stupid is just not right. They didn't charge me for the pinsa, but they ruined my evening...
