The friendly bartender, delicious shakerato, and cake made the wait enjoyable!
I think it would be a great place for Koreans waiting for their trains to stop by and rest!

12/05/2026: Food is ok but very overpriced - especially for a roadhouse. Sorry. They have a lot of attitude. We had one contorno, (SMALL plate of cheese and cured meat) 2 glasses of house-red wine and 2 espressos - E60+. You're paying for atmosphere.
06/05/2026: A restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. Beautiful garden. Very attentive and helpful staff. The food is top-quality and very good. The beef tartare with mustard is AMAZING!!! It's our favorite place every time we pass by.

09/05/2026: We reserved a table for 20 people, just a table, as a place for people so that it wouldn't be crowded.. After arriving at the restaurant, they started bringing us appetizers and almost even main courses without us ordering anything...
In the column: "How much did you spend per person?" I put 10€, just because I had to pay 10€ + tip for something I didn't order.
05/04/2026: We ordered two takeout pizzas and were told they'd be ready in 15 minutes. The pizzas were ready after half an hour, even though the place wasn't crowded. The pizzas looked more than average, they weren't even round, and the dough was unevenly rolled out and in some places raw. We asked for the mozzarella to be removed from one, but the tomato sauce was removed, leaving the mozzarella. Furthermore, the pizza was dry and burnt. The other, however, was SUPER salty and barely topped. We know mistakes happen, but there were just too many oversights here!

It's fine to raise them because it's a holiday and they need to make money, but spending €12 (that's already too much because it's €8 for focaccia and €2 for pecorino) for a TAKE-AWAY focaccia, NOT EVEN WITH SERVICE, TAKE-AWAY! + €10 for two glasses of wine SERVED IN PLASTIC CUPS. Plus the wait from the moment I asked what I wanted, which took at least 10 minutes to make one focaccia. Failed. There are other places that make better sandwiches for half the price, and with pecorino cheese, not melted but sliced.
12/05/2026: Superb charcuterie and cheese board to enjoy with a glass of Brunello. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend it.

11/05/2026: Room are small. The restaurant looked ok but the secondo piati that we had order ed was forgotten. We had to ask about it after others around us who had arrived at the same time were onto coffee. There want even an apology. Very poor service.
20/04/2026: Fantastic location, quiet location. Part of a small village in the Sienese hills where time seems to return to less turbulent times.
Rooms aren't overly spacious but offer every comfort. A good bed for resting and rejuvenating. The bathroom is a decent size, but the shower is a bit small.
Decent WiFi; the ground-floor rooms have limited reception, but it's perfect in all common areas.
The restaurant is in a stunning location; truly delicious food, carefully prepared and beautifully presented.
The panoramic terrace is perfect for reading, enjoying a nice aperitif, and enjoying the view in complete tranquility.
I recommend staying a few days.

28/12/2025: We came here after a few years and I have to say that we had a great time again, very nice place, super welcoming owners and spectacular food, they told us that they will close soon, I'm very sorry, these places are beautiful
12/12/2025: We love this place and the owners were some of the first people I met when I first moved to Siena in 2015 sadly they will be closing their door this December 31, 2025. If you have never been now is the time to taste quality cured meats and other delights. In bocca al lupo for your next endeavors.

24/04/2026: I bought a Too Good to Go bag and was very satisfied: there were slices of all different flavors, and even though the pizza wasn't freshly baked, all it took was a little reheating to make it crispy and not rubbery at all. I appreciated that the ciaccino wasn't too salty, as I've often found at other pizzerias in Siena. Finally, the man at the counter who served me (I don't know if he's the owner) was very courteous and always smiling, which is also a rare thing in Siena.

21/03/2026: I was passing through and stopped for lunch.
The appetizer was good, the first course excellent, with homemade pasta and a generous amount of ragù.
The house wine was also good, and the bill was fair.
The staff were friendly, the service quick.
Overall, I highly recommend this place.
I'll definitely stop by again.
19/03/2026: I had a really good meal, the service was excellent, the price was more than reasonable. The only flaw was the bathroom mirror, which was too high and not suitable for dwarfs. You guys are great. I've been back to this place a few times in recent months, and I have to say I ate well, and the service was more than excellent. I can confirm that you're great! 👍
