05/06/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di pranzare e cenare al Tramandà per quattro gironi, ed ogni giorno era una vera esperienza culinaria! Materie prime eccellenti trattate e bilanciate con molta cura e esperienza, servizio impeccabile, lo staff gentilissimo e molto accogliente, per non parlare poi della fantastica vista sulla piazza. Consigliatissimo!

31/05/2025: È stata un’esperienza culinaria incredibile. Ho avuto il piacere di cenare e pranzare da Tramandà per più giorni e sono rimasto estasiato dalla qualità delle materie prime e dall’originalità dei piatti. Un luogo magico. Complimenti davvero!!

11/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante martedì 8 aprile. Tutto è stato una piacevole sorpresa dalla location, molto elegante, alla gentilezza e professionalità impeccabile del personale, attento alle nostre esigenze. Tutto squisito, cibo fresco e cotto al punto giusto, menzione speciale alla leggendaria fiorentina e al carpaccio di angus con tartufo. Piacevolmente sorpresi dal dessert creato con originalità anche nella sua presentazione. Prezzo commisurato al servizio. Se passate da quelle parti regalatevi quest'esperienza. Manuela e Luca.

05/06/2025: Dream stay at Villa Il Castagno Wine, Resort & Restaurant ✨ We just spent two unforgettable nights there, and everything was absolutely perfect! The setting is breathtaking: nestled in the heart of the vineyards and Tuscan countryside, Villa Il Castagno is a true haven of peace. The stone buildings are incredibly charming, the pool is large, pleasant, and heated, offering incredible views of the surrounding hills. The room we had was splendid, a subtle blend of old and new, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and very well-equipped. Nothing to complain about! The staff is lovely, always attentive and welcoming, which only adds to the experience. A special mention goes to the on-site restaurant, with its large outdoor terrace: you can enjoy all three meals there while once again enjoying this enchanting setting. A real favorite, which I highly recommend. We will definitely come back!

09/05/2025: Great suite, hot tub, Tuscan long distance views, location, chef, Castagno wine tastings and olive oil, cooking class in English & Italian w chef, made bread and lasagna, Chianti Classico and new wine, Campo, Santo. You can tour the property.

14/05/2025: One of the best tagliata con patate fritte ever eaten! We started with a Tuscan appetizer, a mix of cold cuts, cheeses and crostoni, accompanying everything with a good bottle of Brunello di Montalcino Poggio Antico. The house dessert was special. Promoted.

19/05/2025: A dreamy view from the window. So cozy and intimate. The service is simply top-notch. The food was delicious (I find the English word delicious so apt)—I can only recommend it wholeheartedly. For us, it was a perfect start to the day and to our vacation. Thank you so much.

07/06/2025: Dopo una mattinata all'outlet attratti dall'insegna " carne alla brace" ci siamo fermati per una sosta .... abbiamo pensato di essere in una trattoria con piatti caserecci ed invece un locale senza pretese, senza organizzazione con piatti buttati là , dove anche delle verdure grigliate una vera xxxxx prive di qualunque condimento e sapore..... il conto? Tutt'altro che da trattoria!! Era meglio fermarsi al mc donald.

04/06/2025: Carne di buona qualità, ma non frollata assolutamente praticamente ammazzata e cucinata, quindi immasticabile,neppure l’arguzia di affilare i coltelli, una braceria in Valdichiana dovrebbe servire carne lavorata in maniera impeccabile, visto anche il prezzo fuori da ogni logica visto la location, praticamente in mezzo a una rotatoria (una cifra del genere nemmeno in piazza del campo vista palio). il servizio e l’accoglienza impeccabile.

01/03/2025: Locale tranquillo e informale. Proprietario gentilissimo e attento. Abbiamo assaggiato un paio di tartare (la cheesecake e la ligure) che erano strepitose. Assaggiato anche il tonno del Chianti e la lingua salmistrata entrambe buonissime. Molto golosi anche i dolci fatti da loro. Serata molto piacevole e locale assolutamente da provare soprattutto se ti piace la tartare, vista la varietà del menù e la qualità della carne.

25/04/2025: Un ambiente semplice e rustico, simpatico. Si possono gustare panini vari o assaggiare formaggi e sottoli toscani accompagnati da un buon bicchiere. La particolarità del self service fa sentire liberi e a proprio agio. Prezzi onesti e buona qualità.

04/06/2025: Pasamos por este restaurante, sin saber en lo que nos estábamos metiendo. Ofrece comidas italianas caseras tradicionales, hechas por la esposa del propietario. La comida era buena. El servicio estaba bien, con una barrera del idioma. El ambiente era hogareño. Nos dieron el mandato de pedir dos cursos por persona. Y se convirtió en la cena más cara de nuestro viaje de dos semanas por el norte de Italia, una bandera roja. ¡Estaba bien! Sin embargo, como viajeros desinformados que pasan por Montisi, nos sentimos un poco sorprendidos. Si usted es consciente del presupuesto, es posible que desee probar otra cosa.

06/05/2025: I loved the pizza here! There are good vegan options and I opted for the potato and artichoke - no regrets with my choice it was delicious! I also find while on holiday I can eat too much bread, so although I’m not celiac I do order gluten free base and it was every bit as good. The table beside us were 4 vegans and they said they had ate there the evening before and came back for the vegan burger, so it must have been good. Highly recommend to vegans!

17/05/2025: We were there this evening, I have to say that the quality of the food is not bad at all, but the service is poor to say the least. We waited an hour for the entire first order to arrive, not to mention the waiters who ignore you when you call them or the waitresses who ask you to pass the plates while you are eating when you can just go around the table. (No, the plates were definitely in an accessible position). At the cashier they huffed when one of us paid in cash and randomly added €2.50 more to the bill pretending it was a forgotten water when in reality it wasn't. In short, good food but service and customer care really need improvement.
