OMG! Luckily ate here our first night in Siena. I will eat here as often as I can during this stay. Family owned, traditional, menu changes with what’s available locally. Slow pace, friendly but busy. Only has 14 tables all other customers seemed to be locals.

We stopped in Siena on a Thursday evening to eat and were impressed by the quality of the food and the courtesy and friendliness of the owner. Highly recommended.

Wonderful local place to eat. We had the steak (best steak we have tasted in years), ragu and as a starter, the crostini with beans and lardo - heavenly. The guy running the place is clearly comitted to providing great quality food. Don't miss this place just because it isn't in the main square. It's worth the five mins walk to get there!

Nice place, quiet, very good food, a bit expensive, but the food is very good. A smile from the waitresses wouldn't hurt :)

06/05/2026: A very nice restaurant in Val d'Orcia, with convenient parking in front. The outdoor garden is well-kept and offers a lovely dining experience. They serve grilled meats and a variety of first courses, and their wines vary greatly in both quality and price. We enjoyed our stay, although (somewhat confusingly) they brought our first courses straight away, even before we could choose our wine, which we had to choose on the spot. Then they made us wait a long time for the second courses (grilled meats).
06/05/2026: The first course arrived before the wine, and the second course arrived an hour after the first course. When the waiter told us the mixed grill was late because it was slow-cooked, I couldn't believe it. The quality, however, is high.

07/05/2026: A family-run trattoria, just like it used to be. The food is good and the service is decent. The quality/price ratio is good. The graffiti on the walls is charming. Highly recommended.
03/05/2026: My wife and I discovered this fantastic restaurant in Buonconvento. The home-cooked menu is incredibly satisfying, the waiters are friendly, and the walls are beautiful. We highly recommend it!
