A lovely hotel in San Gimignano, with the owner's courtesy and helpfulness. The only downside was that we had to pay for two coffees in the morning, even though breakfast was included. Sometimes you need a good nose.

A good location for visiting San Gimignano, about a 10-minute walk to the historic center. You can drive right up to the entrance, and even if there's no parking, you have plenty of time to get settled in. Simple rooms, a good breakfast in a lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, and a lovely picturesque view of San Gimignano and its towers, even more beautiful at night, from just outside the entrance, but perhaps from some rooms as well. I removed one star because the information says "wheelchair accessible," which isn't entirely true.

14/06/2026: Good vegan pizzas and also yummy vegan gelato! The place isn’t fully vegan anymore but still offers a decent selection of vegan pizzas and also vegan gelato. Great for a casual dinner or to grab some gelato. Enjoyed my dinner here :)
12/06/2026: Pizza is really good but I’d recommend getting a take away. Visited here twice because the pizza is great but on both occasions the service was unwelcoming, we felt like an inconvenience. The restaurant opened 10 minutes late, the staff were sat with friends outside instead and then slowly started to lay tables 15 minutes after they were due to open, it was another 15 minutes before our order was taken. The outside area is a basic, but cool in the shade. To sum up, pizza is good, reasonably priced too but it’s not a friendly place for tourists.
