The place is welcoming, as is the owner and the pleasant atmosphere, and the crispy panzanella is AMAZING!!!! You absolutely have to try it!

Excellent food and very friendly service. The Chianti tuna is special; the vegetable flans are a must! And you can't help but finish with an excellent dessert. Everything is delicious.

Two days of motorcycle touring throughout the beautiful Tuscan countryside, combined with two evenings of fine dining in the cheerful company of the unsurpassed staff at Locanda di Berto e Giangio. This is my perfect combination for unwinding from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharging body, mind, and spirit. I highly recommend this inn to lovers of good traditional cuisine enhanced by the warm hospitality of its staff. My personal go-to for Colle Val d'Elsa and the surrounding area. Ale.

12/06/2026: The restaurant had a nice ambiance, very much like a Western restaurant, and it had three floors with two outdoor tables and chairs. Menus were displayed at the entrance, and the prices were reasonable. While we were arguing about which floor to choose, everyone except us (who were Chinese) was a foreigner! 😂😂😂 I ordered two portions of chili sauce, one quite spicy and one regular, which even a Cantonese person like me could handle. The stir-fried pork intestines were indeed quite fatty. The colorful dumplings were very pretty; I recommend steaming them so the colors show through in the photos. We had the soup version. One portion is enough for two people; don't order two like we did! What's commendable is that every table had fresh roses!!!
