The food and service was good, the reception was quite cold which made me want to flee the place… fortunately the servers and the kitchen made up for this bad impression

Serata di lavoro in questo ristorante che fa parte dell’hotel Casanova. Staff gentile e sorridente, molto disponibili tutti anche per il problema di allergie alimentari e intolleranze non segnalate in precedenza.

I stopped during an excursion with the motorbike (among other things, 2 steps from the famous location of the film Gladiator). Very nice and well-kept restaurant. Impeccable service. Chopping board with 2 types of pecorino cheese wow....what am I telling you to do!!!! I had the pici ubriachi with pancetta cooked in the noble wine of Montepulciano and I must say, very good! Unfortunately I have noticed that in these types of places the coffee is never up to par. Patience. In short, the price is not cheap but not exaggerated either. I'll be back

Excellent food, well presented with generous portions, even gluten-free. The place is enchanting with a veranda overlooking the valley with Pienza at the top. The owner and her collaborators are friendly and kind. The bill paid reflects the excellent overall rating.

Fantastica cena senza glutine. Pici fatti in casa senza glutine con burro e salvia ottimi. Pane caldo, buono e sicuro, arriva direttamente caldo e imbustato

The location is very welcoming with a fireplace at the entrance and a rustic style exterior, large rooms also suitable for ceremonies. Being gluten intolerant, I booked a table in this restaurant also mentioned in the AIC guides, and I had the opportunity to try the famous pici (homemade gluten-free) for the first time. I had them with garlic sauce while my wife had them with wild boar sauce and as an appetizer I had a sausage and pecorino cheese crouton from Pienza and she had the bruschetta with lard. Satisfying experience tasting the flavors of Tuscan cuisine. The waiters are all nice and professional Modest prices

03/03/2024: Locale carino e accogliente. Personale gentile. Buoni i primi (ma porzioni un po' "risicate" ) ma antipasti da migliorare: si presentano bene ma i sapori potrebbero essere più autentici. Diciamo che se state a Colle Val d'Elsa è ok,ma a 15 /20 minuti di macchina si può mangiare meglio.

01/04/2024: Delicious place that offers excellent raw materials, sublimated in dishes that are beautiful to the eye... not to mention the preparation and kindness of the young owner... highly recommended....
28/03/2024: I went to the restaurant recommended by the guide, and it was very delicious! The pasta noodles called peach noodles are plump and cooked just right, so they are really delicious when eaten with sauce! I don't know if the T-bone steak was because I was hungry, but it was really delicious beef, full of juicy flavor and not too greasy. I want to eat it again. According to the guide, it tastes best when eaten between 1.2 and 1.6 kg, but 1.2 kg is a bit much for two people to eat together with pasta... but it was the best steak I've ever had... I want to go to Pienza again because of this restaurant. During my trip to Italy, this was the most delicious place! Even without the wine I ordered, the price was higher than I expected, but I will order the same thing again!
