Bar Belvedere In Montalcino

Good food. Nice place. Unpleasant service, thanks to a single rude waitress. She ruins the entire team.

We were the second couple in the bar in the morning hours, so in total 4 guests. We waited 10 minutes, and as no one showed up we went to grab our coffee at the bar. We were told it is not self service, but that they are busy. Unimaginable that three bartenders cannot serve two tables (one of which already had their coffee)… The coffee was alright, one of the young male bartenders was also very nice. The view from the indoor seating area is divine. The prices more than fair.

While we were waiting for dad to race the Eroica, I had lunch here with my two young children. Excellent food and very friendly service. I even managed to enjoy a beer! Thanks!

Very authentic, great view, food and wine selection

Our favorite restaurant in Montalcino! From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional—the food was authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious, paired perfectly with the incredible local wines, oh and THE VIEW. Every dish was prepared with care and full of flavor. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our server, Filippo. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about making sure guests have a great time, he elevated an already amazing meal into one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. His recommendations were spot on, and his warm personality made us feel like welcomed friends rather than tourists. If you’re visiting Montalcino, this restaurant is an absolute must. Fantastic food, outstanding service, and memories we’ll be talking about for years. Thank you, Filippo, for making a great evening even better—we can’t wait to come back! 🍷🇮🇹🍝

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a spot to have lunch on a rainy day, and were able to enjoy a wonderful meal accompanied by fantastic scenery. The bruschetta, octopus dish, salmon, and traditional Tuskinny soup were all excellent. Although our party's coats were completely soaked in wine due to a major mistake by an unnamed female server, we were able to forget about it thanks to Fillipo's calm demeanor and kind hospitality.

Very small portions, I had salmon and it's not a main course at all, there wasn't even a whole slice in the salad with oranges. The view is very nice. I don't recommend it for food.
