Sushibar In Siena

Excellent location. Probably in good weather you will also be able to occupy the very pleasant outdoor space. Excellent tasty dishes with absolutely quality ingredients. Good service and really reasonable prices. Nice discovery in Siena.

Overall a good place if you are craving sushi after many meals of pasta. Decent fish quality. Rice felt slightly undercooked but I am guessing that was on purpose to match how Italians cook their pasta. My wife and I visited here for lunch. We got 7 pieces of nigiri, 1 handroll sushi, 2 rolls, and a small bowl of ramen. All of them were of good quality. Nothing was exceptional but also no major disappointment. One waiter was serving all 8 tables, and she looked a bit overwhelmed. After our order arrived, it took us a good 10 min or so until we could ask for wasabi. We were also unable to grab her attention to get some more water during our meal. I dont think it is her fault though - the restaurant probably should hire one more waiter.

5 stars! Sushi-Sashimi 🍱 truly Top 🔝! Care is taken in the preparation of each dish, well presented and decorated with edible 🌺 flowers... kind, smiling staff (which is not a given), welcoming environment! If you really have to find a flaw... the tiramisu with green tea is not as special, but still quite good, otherwise everything was perfect. I will definitely be back soon.

Why so bad now? Ingredients were great. Food was great. We were happy for what we were paying. (Not cheap). - months/years ago - Now ingredients are low budget, and really not tasty: (in between not tasty and terrible) Price very high. Why should we go there again? I wish I had a Sushibar as it was in the past.

Sushi were fresh n as authentic as you can get outside Japan, it has a modern twist to it. I am happy their ramen egg is also the authentic marinated soft yolk type. Service was great. Highly recommended.
