11/06/2026: An atmosphere steeped in traditions that have almost vanished, with an air of familiarity. Excellent experience, the only flaw being the limited menu with limited choices. The management's proactivity in selecting dishes also needs to be reconsidered, in my opinion.

27/04/2026: A regular spot for years when working at the Milan trade fair. Excellent food at reasonable prices, and friendly, attentive staff.

22/08/2026: We ate a delicious Florentine steak. The chef first explained the cuts of meat to us, then he scallop-ed it at the table, the best of our tour of Tuscany. Then we tried the pinsa, which was good, and an excellent tiramisu and cheesecake. Considering that they gave us an €8.50 discount on the bill, highly recommended.

14/08/2026: Great spot … we sat inside … we had no reservation and just landed in, they were super accommodating… the steak was fantastic … pasta was great … a hidden gem inside They have a nice area outside in the courtyard.. at night it must be wonderful to sit there … Fairly priced and very good food!

02/06/2026: We spent three very pleasant days here. Impeccable service with kind, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Spotlessly clean and bright rooms. A generous and varied breakfast. Highly recommended for excursions in the area.

02/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We found the staff to be very attentive, and they paid special attention to our one-year-old son. The breakfast was excellent, generous and tasty. The same can be said for dinner. Although the rooms aren't brand new, they are welcoming and equipped with every comfort. Highly recommended, especially for families.

07/06/2026: A little gem in Bagni San Filippo that we happened across for lunch. The service is great, the pizza and pasta is delicious and really reasonably priced, the cans of coke were icy cold, and same with the water. We sat outside and couldn't smell the sulphur from the local hot springs. 5* 🥰

03/05/2026: I had a truly pleasant stay at this hotel, located in the heart of Montalcino, a perfect spot for exploring the village and soaking up the unique atmosphere. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived: the property is well-maintained, clean, and offers a relaxing atmosphere. An added bonus was definitely the hotel restaurant: I had the pleasure of dining there and was truly impressed. The cuisine is exquisite, with carefully prepared dishes using quality ingredients. Each course was beautifully presented and rich in flavor. The staff was always friendly and helpful, helping make the experience even more positive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, an excellent location in the heart of Montalcino, and an excellent culinary experience.

05/07/2026: We stayed at this hotel for one night after a day exploring the Assisi area. We were given the opportunity to dine in the restaurant opposite the hotel, and we had a wonderful time: the parmigiana with the typical Cannara onions was a must-try! The rooms are very charming and offer all the comforts you could need. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. The spa, for couples, is a bargain and includes a Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and sauna. It's highly recommended after a day of constant walking, especially with one of the excellent herbal teas provided. Breakfast features many local artisanal products; although not a huge selection, I found it very good and well-prepared. In short, if you want to unwind, escape the chaos of the city, and dine with a beautiful view of the Umbrian hills, you've come to the right place.

09/08/2026: A very well-organized pizzeria, with fast and friendly staff. Excellent pizza. During our short wait, they brought us bread, schiacciata, and excellent extra virgin olive oil. Castellina in Chianti is a great place to spend the evening, even on the hottest days.

25/05/2026: Everything was perfect. Super clean apartment, exceptional service, excellent breakfast. Stunning views. Excellent location for visiting the main cities nearby, and also for some lovely bike rides. I highly recommend it.

24/05/2026: A wonderful stay in a peaceful little village with beautiful views of the Tuscan valley from the room and the pool. The biggest highlight, aside from the view, is the hotel restaurant, which is delicious for both dinner and breakfast, with attentive staff. The only slight improvement would be to the rooms, which could use a little updating. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this accommodation if you're looking for a peaceful place to stay while exploring Tuscany.

19/08/2026: We were tired, hungry, and recovering from a terrible experience in a vacation rental, ready to return to Rome. Stopping at Osteria Santa Caterina was the turning point of our trip. We were greeted by a spectacular view of the Val d'Orcia and a plate of amazing homemade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. But the real miracle was the owner's gesture: incredibly sweet and exceptionally kind, she offered us a room for the night even though it was closed the next day. They pampered us and convinced us not to leave Tuscany. A warm and authentic welcome we will never forget. Definitely stop by, even if it's just for a meal!

16/08/2026: A wonderful surprise, like eating at home, authentic cuisine with excellent ingredients. During a seven-day stay, we ate twice, each time with different dishes, but both excellent. Beautiful views and a warm welcome! Prices are in line with those of the Val d'Orcia!

23/07/2026: Il Cantiere del Buon Gusto is undoubtedly one of the best places in Siena to spend a truly special evening dedicated to great food and authentic Tuscan flavours. You can enjoy an excellent selection of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses, as well as one of the best tartares I have ever tasted. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, and every detail is carefully considered. The service is attentive and highly professional, with an exceptional level of care for every guest. Booking in advance is highly recommended if you want to make sure you get a table. If you are visiting Siena, a dinner at Il Cantiere del Buon Gusto is an experience you simply should not miss.

09/06/2026: This place could use a good refresh, as the spaces and rooms clearly reflect the passing of time. The furnishings are dated, and the rooms now look run-down. At the spa, where silence is required and smoking is prohibited, a lady entertained us for HOURS by talking at the top of her voice on her cell phone, using the speakerphone. After all the guests had waited too long, the staff was called, but they were unable to silence the aforementioned "lady." Instead, with uncontrollable rudeness, she attacked everyone present with tantrums and sarcasm. We had to leave the common areas, as it was impossible to experience the peace and quiet we had come for, and unfortunately, the staff failed to enforce the rules the facility itself has imposed. In fact, the lady remained blissfully in the pool, disturbing everyone's tranquility, taunting anyone who criticized her. Meanwhile, her husband was happily smoking in the space where the NO SMOKING SIGN kept the other (useless) silence company. We had to forgo some healthy relaxation (which comes at a high price), and unfortunately, our short vacation, which was intended for just that, was ruined. In the square in front of the entrance, we also saw children playing ball, and frankly, it didn't seem like a suitable environment for such an activity. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, I sincerely advise against it. It's a shame because the place has a truly remarkable view, and the spa staff were truly professional.

07/06/2026: Fantastic experience. From the moment you walk through the elegant gates, you'll realize that every guest is at the center of attention here. Plenty of pampering and attention make your stay magical. Every member of the staff works to make your holiday special and feels truly at home here. The treatments available are cutting-edge. I personally had the intensive biocast, and it was truly exceptional. A tangible result, in addition to the health benefits. Giulia, the person in charge of the treatment, was superb, gentle, and an excellent professional. We will definitely return to enjoy this paradise again.

08/08/2026: We felt very welcome here. The food was great. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day. At lunchtime, the restaurant was full of Italians. Unfortunately, none of the delicious pizzas were served at lunchtime. However, this meant we got to enjoy the delicious pasta. The service was really very friendly!

08/08/2026: I ate here twice during my holiday because it was so delicious! We had fantastic crudo with melon, the best pizza of the holiday, and fantastic pasta. The ice cream was also top-notch; I would definitely come back.
