02/08/2024: More than the inn, I think the whole village is very beautiful to visit, with the narrow streets that branch out like a labyrinth between the houses. Many panoramic points and welcoming benches for a moment of relaxation. Although certainly not by road, it is worth going even on the road that passes between hills and cultivated fields. It is not a place for mass tourism and perhaps there is not a series of shops selling souvenirs, but you can breathe an air of times gone by. Advised

18/07/2024: How do they do it?! This little place in a tiny village managed to be one of my groups absolute favorite dinners during our week in Tuscany. The setting in Castelmuzio on the piazza is charming, quintessential small town Italy. The servers are great. And the food is excellent quality. We highly recommend their ragu bianco and tender handmade pastas. The pork roast was fantastic, along with the crispy roasted potatoes… all perfectly seasoned. Their homemade desserts are also fabulous. Nothing’s fancy, but it all manages to taste delicious. The house wines are enjoyable (the white was surprising) and a good value. A fun quirk of this location is when the church bells begin to ring at 8 pm… there are three dueling campanile and the ringing goes on and on and on until everyone begins to laugh. A wonderful spot, worth a drive even if you’re staying a few towns over. (Be sure and arrive 30+ minutes early so you can stroll through the tiny village before dinner, and enjoy the views toward Pienza and Santa Anna from up Borgo Salotto.

06/08/2024: You have got to try their great collection of flavoured olive oils which the staff will kindly provide you if you order any pizza. The pizza is also well-flavoured and relatively large for the money you pay. A splendid experience.

14/08/2024: Nothing takes away from my mind that the pizzas of this place are basic (like Bella Napoli) then filled to taste according to the tastes of the menu. In Sinalunga, in my opinion, there is no pizza worthy of its name...

20/08/2024: We went in after booking because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, as there was no room outside, they let us sit inside, but the heat was unbearable for me, after a quick look at the menu and seeing that for a 66cl Moretti they were asking €7. we're gone. The kind waiter offered to keep us 2 tables outside, but in the end we opted for something else...

18/08/2024: The pilgrim's menu caught my attention and in between, the truffle pasta was good but a little dry, but I didn't like the margherita pizza at all, it didn't have much chichi, to be honest. The lady who served me was a little dry and what made me feel the worst was that they would charge me €5 for a bottle of beer. I wouldn't go back.

11/08/2024: I have 2 most wonderful weeks in Italy! My experience tonight in this restaurant was the worst of my trip! Most unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Had to ask for everything 2-3 times. The food was really bad! How do you NOT get spaghetti carbonara right?? (at 15 Euro). Spaghetti was undercooked and half of the dish was garlic! Super expensive and super bad! WITH a 6 Euro service fee for NO service!

16/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati casualmente in questa trattoria attirati dall insegna e dalla fame, locale non molto curato ma caratteristico, ci portano al tavolo, senza richiederla, acqua frizzante e naturale, poi ci viene letto il menù da cui scegliamo 3 panzanelle e un piatto di pici al ragù di coniglio ( ne prendiamo anche un assaggio per mio figlio di un anno). Personale gentile e cordiale cibo molto buono la sorpresa é arrivata con il conto. 15 euro il piatto di pici con coniglio ( quantità media, non abbondante) 7.50 la panzanella ( altro non è che pane cipolla e pomodoro) 7.50 anche la pasta per il bimbo. Prezzi veramente alti ed ingiustificati che hanno rovinato il pranzo.

14/08/2024: Meeeega! It's a bit inconspicuous, but really good! We came spontaneously with our dog and were welcomed very friendly! Everything was looked after perfectly and the food and drinks were extremely great! Thank you very much for this beautiful and pleasant evening!

12/08/2024: Family dinner after a long day spent visiting enchanting places...arrived, we take a seat (4 people) and order. 3 pizzas and a grilled cockerel (actually half a cockerel, but not specified on the menu). The wrong pizza arrives at the table compared to the request, but we accept the cockerel, instead, completely raw inside (red and pink), burnt on the outside, with the accompanying roast potatoes, very salty and inedible. After having informed the waiter of the uncooked dish, we were told: "yes, it is a little raw" and then added "yes, it is very raw in fact". The dish is taken away, without a word of apology and without saying whether they would have made it again or brought something different. After 10 minutes of waiting, the SAME cockerel is brought back to us, slightly cooked, without a bit of respect, dare I say, towards the customer, who at the very least expects a remade dish. The dish remained imaginable. They tried to offer a tiramisu as an excuse to a person who unfortunately cannot consume sugar. Not recommended experience, due to complete lack of attention to the customer. Ps: Wrong account. We ordered 2 liters of water. After being told that there were no liter bottles, we agreed to take 4 half liter bottles. The bill included 4 1 liter bottles.

27/08/2024: Just so many compliments. All dishes are cooked with passion and care, refined in all their originality. Table service was quick, with friendly and helpful staff. Furthermore, the quality-price is really honest. We ended up here by chance, but we will definitely return for pleasure. Thank you!

06/08/2024: Very friendly welcome and service The dishes were well prepared, especially the tagliatelle with Tuscan ragout! And believe me, even in Italy, this is often far from being the case! Cool atmosphere set back from the noisy main street. Worth the detour

20/07/2024: Moira and Riccardo! Met by chance. We had to visit them way back in “Covid” Only yesterday we succeeded, what can I say? Sensation versus reality, 100!!! In addition to being kind, friendly, the place is heavenly! The food, divine. Perfect breakfast. Super online price But what matters is happiness, the positive smile. Swimming pool, animals, countryside, all 10m from the Life! Well done!! And goodbye!!!!

28/08/2024: Consiglio questo posto a tutti quelli che vogliono rimanere in Toscana con un pizzico di innovazione a tavola. I pici tirati a mano al ragù della nonna e il filetto di tonno con salsa di topinambur è il riassunto di quanto scritto. Ho apprezzato il menu del giorno, che non è scontato trovare, un attenzione al cliente e alla reperibilità giornaliera del materiale. Un grazie all'oste Stefano che ha saputo consigliare degli ottimi vini della zona...

25/08/2024: My experience at Villa Ducci was exceptional! After months of preparation and telephone contacts with the very kind Mrs. Azzurra we were guests at this structure located a few kilometers from San Gimignano. What can I say? LOVELY, both the location and the quality of the food and the guys at the service (all courteous and helpful). A big thank you as I was saying to Azzurra, Matia, Denis and really everyone for their excellent work! If you want a quality and well-being stay, Villa Ducci is definitely the right place.
