02/04/2025: Best pizza we had in the area. The place outside of the city (but was close to our hotel), amazing Napolitan pizza, and the different oil tastes added a lot.

08/04/2025: 4 of us had lunch in the garden, a highly recommended location, spectacular views, absolute tranquility, very good food and kind and welcoming staff. I can't say anything about the rooms because we only stayed for lunch
04/03/2025: The location, the wine and the restaurant are great. However, it is hot in August because there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

15/03/2025: Perfect place to stop, go up and sit on the small terrace, and enjoy spectacular views of Piazza del Campo. It is true that the service and the views are paid, but it is worth it.

30/12/2024: A great location, very quiet with spacious rooms and small bungalows. In particular, the great cuisine should be mentioned. Our meat was sensationally done. I would say it is the best meat kitchen in the area. The family that runs the property does a great job. Thanks. We would be happy to come back at any time...
04/10/2024: Beautiful spot just down the hill in Montefollonico. Service and food were delightful. Such a great intimate dinner. Felt like part of the family. So welcoming.

Make sure to stop for lunch/ dinner here at Il Conte Matto when you're traveling through Trequanda. The staff was super friendly and passionate about the food they were serving. Can highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan meal.

30/03/2025: Two couples stopped by for lunch at short notice after a city tour without prior reservation and were immediately assigned a table. The excellent, regional food was freshly prepared and served promptly. Friendly staff, good value for money, a great atmosphere, and a lovely terrace. We'd be happy to return!
