18/08/2024: Located in a suggestive location among the narrow streets of Siena... you don't expect to find a great little gem... a place of great charm... the curiosity was whether the dishes respected the location... expectations respected... Tuscan dishes from ancient flavor but made modern... the genuine quality was perceived throughout... we wanted typical non-touristy dishes... and we guessed it... impossible to indicate one dish superior to another given that everyone (there were six of us) chose something different and in the end we tasted them all... I agree that they were all excellent and then it clearly depends on personal taste... for example I don't eat meat but the steak was very good and tender... I could have eaten it too. ..prepared and kind staff...thanks to Paolo the Owner who guided us pleasantly in the choices...and also told us a bit of the story given our curiosity about the exhibited photos of famous people who passed through his restaurant and the architecture particular of the place...excellent experience thank you very much

15/07/2024: Excellent food; I highly recommend trying a simple focaccia with tomatoes and mozzarella. Good service as the food was recommended to me practically immediately after the order was placed. I gave the room 4 stars because it is nice, but not very spacious

19/06/2024: I've been to many restaurants in Florence and Siena, but I personally liked this restaurant the best. The food is delicious and the homely atmosphere is very nice. The owner is friendly, and there are cats and dogs as well. I was a little tired from going to tourist attractions, but this is a place where I was able to heal after a long time.

03/08/2024: Beautiful place. Exceptional swimming pool and delicious breakfasts. We enjoyed our dinner meal less, but simply ate elsewhere the other evenings. Otherwise, great place! Very calm and peaceful.

09/07/2024: Staying here on our trip to Tuscany was a success. In the middle of nature, with beautiful sunsets, breathing tranquility and with very charming facilities. The rooms are super spacious and the bed is huge, very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast. And the movie enclave.

01/11/2023: My long-time friend, Ilaria, a Milanese architect, is the competent and knowledgeable host of this jewel set in a special place, born 4 years ago. Finally today I managed to keep my promise to come and visit her, with mutual joy. If you pass by here, stop, taste one of the magnificent wines chosen one by one by her, ask her to recommend a pairing, and remember that life is beautiful. The internal cave is not to be missed.

12/07/2024: Hyggelig atmosfære, fantastisk mad, venligt personale, billigt. Spiste der en torsdag aften i juli. Vi havde reserveret bord forinden, hvilket var heldigt, for flere forbipasserende gik forgæves. Bestemt et besøg værd igen.

22/07/2024: The restaurant at La Chuisa was amazing! The breakfast is not extensive, but has a variety of foods. Only hot food was scrambled eggs on request. Lovely sweets and fresh fruit. We had a couple of dinners here and the food was delicious. Pastas were tasty and nice desserts. We were here for our daughter's wedding. Special thanks to Laurene, who was knowledgeable, friendly and took care of all our food and wine needs and was very patient! Also, Christian and Sara were very helpful.

10/07/2024: My daughter's wedding at La Chiusa was a dream come true! If you are worried about a language barrier, fear not, as the staff speaks English beautifully and they are attuned to your needs and eager to make your every wish come true. Special thanks go to our on-site coordinator, Francesca, whose warmth, efficiency, and advice were priceless. The setting, the vistas, the food and wine were all delightful and they surpassed our high standards and expectations. If the thought of planning a wedding far from home seems daunting, rest assured that our three day wedding weekend went perfectly according to plan and each and every guest fell in love with Tuscany and the hospitality that was so generously offered. We literally cried when we had to leave this amazing villa and we all made a pact to return soon. Five stars cannot even express our true delight with La Chiusa.
