I seriously guarantee you will taste all the specialties of this welcoming place. Friendly to say the least, but all the owners and staff are sociable. You eat well and very little, super good. You eat everything you want. The cooking is super special, cheap, but listen, you eat really, very good. Hygiene is TOP OF THE TOP. I was there for a week and you already say that I ate very well both in the restaurant and on the takeaway. Leccio Asciano pizzeria restaurant. Well, I tell you that the dish at the table is cooked at the moment, it is not junk food and the best of the TOP, drinks flow freely. La Terrazza della Val d’Orcia offers an unforgettable experience: a breathtaking view of the valley, accompanied by authentic Tuscan dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients. The Pici cacio e pepe pasta stands out for the quality of the pasta and its perfect cooking, but the extra touch is the addition of truffle, which pairs perfectly, making the dish indescribable. Unfortunately, several traditional dishes and some ingredients were sold out, which is why we were unable to enjoy some dishes. The service is courteous and attentive, with attention to animals as well. Prices are average for the area. The waits are a bit long, but this is something that can be worked around. I recommend booking for lunch or an aperitif because in the evening the landscape is dim, almost invisible, and the restaurant's location would not be fully exploited. The only real flaw in our dinner was that the kitchen closed without warning or asking if we still wanted to order, especially considering they'd told the waiters we wanted to take our time and possibly order meat as well. However, it was still a lovely experience. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxing lunch, highly recommended.

09/06/2025: A typical Tuscan trattoria/pizzeria with excellent food near Castelnuovo Berardenga. The pizza selection is exceptional, and the quality of the pizzas is second to none. You should definitely try the struzzo, for example, as a tagliata.

They say on the phone that they have products for celiacs, and when you walk in the door, a big sign awaits you stating that there's a risk of contamination for celiacs. And that's exactly what happened; I ended up with a nasty mouth ulcer. Also, my husband ordered a pizza with burrata, and shortly afterward he had bouts of diarrhea. A very negative experience.
