05/08/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant fell far short of my expectations. I was craving a good Spanish dinner, but the reality was a huge disappointment from start to finish. Here are the main problems that ruined the dinner: The Tapas: Almost all of them were of terrible quality. They were poorly prepared, some were overly salty, at times inedible and overpowering every other flavor, others were tasteless, and the "spicy" potatoes tasted exclusively of tomato, while the shrimp and octopus were extremely poor quality and tasteless. The only positive note was the garlic mayonnaise. The Paella: What should have been the highlight of the menu turned out to be a disaster. The dish tasted exclusively of peppers, a flavor so strong and invasive that it completely overpowered the rest of the ingredients. The Fish: The seafood in the paella was clearly of poor quality, rubbery, and flavorless. The Sangria got boring after a while because it was marinated with too much lime and tasted almost exclusively of that, and it was very diluted. I'm sorry to have to leave such a review, but I won't be returning. Absolutely not recommended.

08/07/2026: Small but very nice atmosphere. Excellent tapas, including off-menu options. Very good paella. Very friendly staff, generous with recommendations.

15/08/2026: I ordered a 1.3 kg Fiorentina steak. I thought the Fiorentina steak might have acquired a fishy flavor because it was cooked on the same grill. The owner got impatient. I didn't ask for anything else, so I ate it and paid for it. But when I asked, "Everything's fine," I replied, "Nothing more." A little humility every now and then. Fantastic staff.

My daughter waited 40 minutes for her pizza, after everyone else had already finished eating. Communication was very poor. We asked for two separate bills, but we only received one, and it was extremely unclear. It was difficult to understand what we had ordered, what we had been served, and what we had been charged. 30/06/2026: A truly lovely place to enjoy a glass of excellent wine and an aperitif! The owner is a truly delightful and kind person: he told us a bit about the history of Radicofani and was able to recommend some truly excellent wines!

21/06/2026: Pretty disappointing. Food was pretty good, but service was aloof and poor overall. Bread was worst we had in Italy. I wouldn't come back.

19/06/2026: Fine, authentic cuisine! Finally, not pizza or run-of-the-mill pasta, but regional, traditional, and expertly prepared dishes. The eel was superb. Prices very reasonable. Friendly service.

01/02/2026: What struck me most was the staff's extreme courtesy, politeness, kindness, and attentiveness. The location, too, deserves a 10/10, where peace and tranquility reign supreme amidst the green Tuscan hills. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the rooms were spotlessly clean, with absolutely everything you could possibly need! Highly recommended!

14/01/2026: If you're staying in San Gimignano, I highly recommend this place. The breakfast is delicious, and there's a wide variety of desserts. The homemade cakes are all delicious. I had dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly. The room was in great condition. The Cypress Road access road to the hotel was also fantastic!

27/05/2026: Despite its somewhat unassuming appearance from the outside, you enter and are overwhelmed by the aroma of freshly baked bread... not to mention the desserts and pastries. But it's the bread, the standout for its variety and quality, that makes Paolini's bakery worth a visit. Update: the Easter sweets are fabulous!!! Easter sweets and more... a mouth-watering variety of traditional and savory sweets.

03/02/2026: Excellent bread! Especially the sourdough one!!! We love the fritters and cenci!

02/07/2026: Good prices (7 euros for a ham and mushroom pizza). Decent pizzas, nothing wow, but just fine! Real stone oven! Service okay, she said 10 minutes turned into 30, but that's just how it is.

Honored to be one of your customers. Highly recommended, but not only for the cakes, for the assortment of pastries, savory and pleasant aperitifs. A very small defect, improve the kindness of the female staff.
