Il Giglio Restaurant In Montalcino

Wonderful, small hotel with a charismatic couple in the middle of the old town. The room I had was very clean and well maintained with a fantastic view. New bathroom. Very good breakfast with homemade cakes and excellent dinner with (if desired) a small wine tasting. Dog friendly. The valet service is unbeatable, you can hand in the key and the car will be driven away, which is a real relief with my van in the narrow streets. The only complaints are the hardness of the mattresses and the noisy rooms, but everything else was great. When I'm back in Montalcino, I'll only book this hotel! Highly, highly recommended!!

I stayed in this hotel for the Brunello crossing event, the welcome immediately seemed warm with welcoming people in a beautiful and evocative location, the room was presented to me as if it were mine, that is, it made me feel like I was comfortable, tastefully furnished and clean, the breakfast tickled my taste buds at the sight, promptly involved by the waitress to find out what I liked hot. If you should find yourself sleeping in Montalcino I highly recommend this hotel.

They put so much passion and love into what they do

While visiting Montalcino we randomly stopped at the Il Giglio hotel to use the restaurant. Upon entering you immediately perceive a refined and familiar atmosphere at the same time. The managers are attentive to customer satisfaction...the table setting is beautiful, the view is beautiful, the food is really good not to mention the wines.... This stop was a pleasant surprise for us as well as a gastronomic treat !!!!!!

We had the best time at il Giglio. Antonio took great care of us. He stopped by to make sure we were happy and generally made us feel welcome. The food was delicious.
