Already intrigued the night before,
we returned for lunch on Easter Monday.
Off the beaten path, but within the city walls, this osteria offers excellent food and a warm welcome.
We had the wild boar pici and an excellent ribollita, a tasty Chianti peposo accompanied by a warm, crispy focaccia and house wine. Limoncello and myrtle liqueur were also on the house.
Next time, we'll try the platters and crostini, which looked excellent.
A must-try if you're passing through Siena past the Arch of San Francesco.
Highly recommended.

Small restaurant in the center of Siena.
The menu offers a good selection without being overbearing. Simple, well-executed dishes made with quality ingredients.
The atmosphere is casual, but the service is attentive and fast. Prices are very fair.
