Anyone looking for a truly authentic and affordable restaurant in the Volterra region should definitely head to Gimmy Giò. We had an absolutely wonderful meal here! Ambiance & Service: The restaurant boasts a wonderful atmosphere. The outdoor seating is fantastic – a real eye-catcher is a lovingly converted Vespa that instantly adds an Italian flair. The owner and his assistant are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Food & Drinks (An absolute dream): The selection is outstanding: In addition to a well-stocked standard menu, there's also a daily changing menu with fresh recommendations. Both the pizza and the pasta were absolutely delicious! Beer lovers are also well catered for: The freshly tapped beer tasted delicious – just looking at it in the glass made you really thirsty. Unbeatable value for money: The pricing is particularly noteworthy. It's extremely attractive and fair – especially when you compare it directly to the often overpriced restaurants in nearby San Gimignano or Volterra itself. Here you still get excellent quality at a reasonable price. Conclusion: Great atmosphere with Vespa charm, outstanding food, warm service, and top prices. For us, an absolute must-visit in the area!

Located on a quiet side street. They also have a weekly menu. Friendly staff, delicious and reasonably priced food. We chose this restaurant because they offered pizza and pasta.

We ate dinner here three times. The quality was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the owner was very attentive and welcoming. The food is truly delicious. The music is at just the right volume—you can hear it but still have a conversation. The decor is also beautifully done; you can tell someone puts their heart and soul into it. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant.

I highly recommend the steak, and the pasta dishes too. Everything was delicious and fresh, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely come back; the prices were excellent as well.

An authentic restaurant, quietly located on a side street. Delicious food, friendly staff, and especially good value for money at lunchtime. For us, one of the best restaurants during our trip. High chair available upon request.
